Intro

Gay System is a video site featuring a large collection of exclusive gay movies. It's a hardcore site featuring men of all different ages and body types (though usually European) masturbating and fucking each other. The tour is set up to allow visitors to view much of site before actually joining, so it's easy to get a feel for the kind of content they offer.

The Pros

Exclusive gay collection.

Coming into the site, I wasn't expecting the collection to actually be exclusive. I thought I'd be seeing just a gay DVD archive, not an original movie collection with scenes you won't find anywhere else. They've got twinks, studs, and bears (Oh my!) doing everything from anal to blowjobs. There are men in uniform, toys, and spanking and plenty of hardcore lovin' that fans of gay hardcore will enjoy.

Large site!

This is a good-sized video collection. There are currently 394 scenes online. Each scene is fairly long, at around 25 minutes. With so many videos here, they're able to offer members a varied collection and plenty to enjoy.

Some HD movies.

There are some high definition wmvs here that play at 4000k and are 1280 x 720 in size. The movies are really sharp and good-looking. The non-HD movies look more average, but overall quality is a strength of the site.

Other Good Stuff:

Videos can be streamed in your browser using Flash. They can also be downloaded as wmvs in two quality settings and as mpegs.
There are some good browse tools here. The category list is helpful, and it's easy to view top rated, new, and HD videos with the different lists they provide.

The Cons

No recent updates.

Unfortunately, the last update was in October of 2010, so six months ago at this point. Updates were coming daily before that. Then they just stopped suddenly. I wouldn't count on updates picking up again.

Could use more navigational features.

I didn't have trouble getting around the site but navigation could still be more advanced. There's no way to browse the models and the search is just a simple keyword box. For a site of this size, I expected more.

Minor Negatives:

There are some limits on downloads. The limits vary depending on which membership option you picked (5GB limit for trial, 100GB limit for non-recurring monthly). Keep it in mind so you're not surprised.
There are no photos here. This is a video-only site.
Downloads came a bit slower than I was expecting. With the browser, it was about 70% of my usual speed. With a download manager, it was about 20% of the speed I usually see with it.

Bottom Line

This large site has plenty to enjoy even though updates have stopped.

Gay System had a great thing going until updates stopped. They had a large collection, daily updates, HD video, and some decent user tools. The price of $30 a month was reasonable for that. However, with updates completely stopped, it's a tougher sell. Still, there's more than enough content here to be worth at least a month's membership, so if you're a fan of European gay hardcore videos, Gay System is still worth a look.
