This is a full re-review of FTV Girls. TBP has had a review for this site online for many years and it's consistently one of our highest rated sites. FTV crosses the boundaries of several popular niche categories including things like softcore, videos, photography, and young adults. At the same time the collection goes beyond that by including girl/girl, masturbation, toy play, and insertions. The foundation of FTV is built on videos of sexy models and from there the entertainment value is enhanced by offering high-res content and mixing in lots of masturbation, insertion, toy, and girl/girl shoots.
The Goods:
- Large Collection w/ Very Sexy Models. FTV has compiled a lot of exclusive content shoots and they really do an excellent job of filming sexy models. No doubt this group of models has a wide range of appeal and include a lot of amateurs whom I don't recognize along with some sexy pornstars so it's a nice mix. They have so much material that they've been spinning off and creating some individual model sites for a few of their girls.
- High Content Quality, Emphasis on Vids. One of FTV's key strengths is the focus on video content. By no means do they ignore picture galleries as all the models have them including zip files for downloading. Still, the vids are the centerpiece of what FTV offers. The quality is a real positive too and they have continued to bump up the quality over the years. As you go back to early years of the archives the quality does drop off a bit but that goes with the territory since they have been online for so long.
- Semi-Hard Fetish Content, Girl/Girl Too. This is a key component to what makes FTV a fun site. They have a well-rounded collection with solo girl stripping, masturbation, toy play, and then they reach into the fetish realm too. Things like insertions, speculums, squirting, beads, fisting, etc. can all be found throughout the site.
- Steady Updates, Years of Archives. FTV's updates are steady and they've established a solid track record over the years. A long, long list of updates fully available for members to track the history. This is how they've managed to compile such a sizable database of models and shoots.
The Bads:
- Could Use Addt'l Navigation Features. The basic navigation tools include an alphabetical model directory plus the update archive. The page design is fairly cluttered and quite a bit of scrolling is required. They do have a separate section just for the girl/girl shoots which is helpful. What they don't have are the little helpful quick link tools that would allow for members to locate similar types of shoots or models. There isn't any way to search or filter down to find models of certain physical characteristics. Basically there's room for improvement when it comes to the number of navigation features.
- Update Speed is Only Average. While I praise the consistency of FTV's updates the actual pace is nothing special. A new addition gets put online every 5-6 days or so. Having reviewed a lot of sites I know that many competing sites have updates on a daily basis or certainly faster than FTV's. This is not a huge negative by any means but it did catch my attention. I believe they had daily updates a few years back but it's not the case now.
Conclusion:
FTV Girls is an excellent site and they flat out deliver when it comes to high quality video (and pic) content of sexy models. The appeal of their content style and the models is widespread and for good reason. The video-first philosophy is something they can really hang their hat on since more than ever before surfers are on the lookout for quality movie content. Of course there are small items that could be done to improve the site but FTV is one of those sites where the positives clearly outweigh the negatives and it's a site that I can easily recommend.
