Intro

Fresh SX is a gay site from the crew over at AEBN whose flagship site is AEBN On Demand which is a monster pay-per-view site. They also have other sites well rated sites in the gay niche like Tyler's Room and Naked Sword. With Fresh SX we have a standard monthly membership site featuring gay hardcore and solo content with downloadable videos and photo galleries. You can get a pretty good feel for the stars, scenes, and sets that are available from the samples shown on the guest tour.

The Pros

Gay Studio Content, Hardcore & Solo Movies/Pictures.

Fresh SX's content is a general collection in that it features fit, muscular, and average built guys in hardcore and solo action. Quantity is decent in terms of both the video scenes and photo galleries with about a couple hundred of each. The movies are broken down by DVD or video scene so you can access them that way. Even though this is the Fresh SX studio movies I found the models bot have a look about them that covers both pro and amateur style. Not all are totally ripped polished pornstar men so it's a good mix.

Downloadable WMV, Some HD, Flash Streaming, Gallery Zips.

Contnet options are functional although not flashy or overly developed. Videos are available in full-scene WMV files for downloading with some newer vids featuring HD quality 1280x720 which is a nice touch. There is also in-browser Flash streaming which works well. Photo galleries have both online images and zip files for downloading. Essentially they have the fundamentals covered and then the high-def level vids are the one extra nugget that's available.

Other Good Stuff:

Navigation includes browsing by Movie (DVD), video scene, photo gallery, or model index. The model index has preview pics along with bio info on the guys.
Content items are date-stamped with update details. they generally add around 3 to 5 new video scenes each month. Movies with high-definition level files are tagged with a clear marker. They also show run-time for the videos.
Live webcam shows are included for members. Info is posted in the member's are about upcoming shows and there are hundreds of archived shows available for streaming.

The Cons

Most Videos Not in HD Level, Lower Specs on Others.

The high-definition tag is featured on a number of the samples shown on the guest tour and that might be a bit misleading. The bulk of the scenes are in more average quality videos that look okay. They don't post specific spec info for the files and from the samples I tried they seem to range from around d 850x450 to 640x480 so there is inconsistency there.

Just One Video Format & Quality Level for Each Scene.

For a movie studio based site the download options are rather limited. It's good that they have the basics covered with WMV files however overall the choices are lacking when compared to so many other sites out there. Particularly on the HD level scenes I'd like to have seen a standard def option there to go along with the higher level.

Minor Negatives:

No file size info is provided for the video files or photo gallery zips.
Unsure of photo gallery updates. According to our TBP content fact managers the total count sometimes decreases despite current dates.
There are a few member's are banner ads for products and other paysites.

Gay hardcore & solo vids/pics from the Fresh SX studio with some HD quality videos on new updates.

Fresh SX is a straightforward and pretty good site with content from this gay studio. They have downloadable movies and galleries with a mid-sized collection. The mix of pro and everyday type men is noteworthy as is the inclusion of high-def videos on newer updates. Things are limited to just the one download option which is disappointing as is the quality on some scenes as it's up-and-down depending on what shoot you're looking at. Based on the fact that the site has been around for a number of years they should continue to roll along with steady updates like they have been doing in the past.
