I knew those Frat Boys in college were gay! Fratboy.com is here to showcase all those young college football players who like to play with their teammates both on and off the field. $29.95 per month gives users access to a large collection of gay videos, 109+ are of Frat Boys, and a new update is promised weekly. From the tour this site seems like a "reality" based, highly personable gay site, but once inside its clear this is more of a collection of exclusive (Helix) Studio films with a couple of different themes actually being featured, although there definitely is some jock/frat content featured All in all there are more than 536+ models featured, so there certainly is a lot to be seen.
The Good:
- Exclusive gay content from Helix Studios and a lot of it. Not only will you find around 112+ gay "jock" videos, but there are also more than 109+ Frat Boy themed videos, plus lots more. I can't say this is the most personality packed gay site we've seen, but there certainly is a lot of action going on in these films.
- A model index allows users to browse through all 536+ models and gives some quick stats/bio information most of the time. Things like age and sexual orientation is all. You can also browse by content themes: amateur, bareback, interracial, group sex, frat, studs, twink, uncut, etc.
- Full-length video downloads with no download limit or DRM protection. It varies some but WMV bitrates go up to 1000k-2000k and overall look pretty nice. Each video also offers a selection of image shots, but these are small.
The Bad:
- Tour is a little misleading. This isn't really, truly a frat themed site, but rather a collection of Helix Studio content that happens to cover that theme, along with many other gay themes. In fact, the URL for the member's area reads HelixStudios.net.
- No date stamps or clear update schedule. There certainly is a lot to see here, however, it's just not clear how often something new is being added.
- No advanced browse/user/download options. Everything here is pretty basic, almost as basic as it comes. The only helpful feature is a drop-down menu for the different video themes, and the model index I suppose.
The Conclusion:
I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed by this site. I guess I was just expecting to see some really cool themed frat boy video episodes with content descriptions, model information and scene set-up. Instead this is more like generic gay video content, solo and hardcore. It is good stuff, I admit, but not quite what I expected. With that said, there's a lot to be seen here, although nothing that will really blow you away in terms of quality or entertainment. For $30 bucks per month, this is definitely a lot of content! But overall personality and average quality videos brought down the overall enjoyment level for me.
