Foot Factory is the site of fetish photographer Ed Fox. Personally, I'm not familiar with the details of his work but there's a note that he's done work for Leg Show magazine. Typically I think official sites for experienced photographers are a very good idea. It allows these guys who have experience working with magazines and content producers to showcase their own stuff on their own terms.
The Goods:
- Exclusive Foot/Leg Collection. This is definitely the main selling point. As it states on the tour the shoots do indeed feature sexy models in quite a variety of foot and leg fetish action. It includes stuff like foot close-ups, shoes, legs, some hardcore, etc. Like you'd expect from a photographer he utilizes many different styles of girls and locations. The content is heavily weighted towards photos much more than videos with the galleries outnumbering videos by just about a 5:1 ratio.
- Clean Layout & Model Index. Both the guest tour and member's area look nice and are simple to figure out. The model index is helpful but I also like a "more from this model" link that's available when browsing through the Galleries or Videos sections. It's a little navigation tool that I found helpful.
- Zip Download Files. This is a good feature for a site that focuses on photo content. There are also multiple picture sizes when browsing the galleries online.
The Bads:
- Only QT Format for Many Videos. I already pointed out that the number of videos is smaller than the number of galleries. The fact that a large percentage of the videos are only in QT hurts the collection as well. Judging from the recent additions the format seems to have been switched with newer videos in both WMV and QT and some of the very newest ones only in WMV.
- Pics Open in New Window. This is a pet peeve of mine and really the one navigation item on Foot Factory that annoyed me.
Conclusion:
It's always good to see foot/leg fetish sites that have their own collection of content. The picture content gets updates a couple times per week and the videos are on a once per week pace. It'll be interesting to see the size of the site when we come back for a follow-up. Also, let’s hope they continue sticking with WMV as the standard video format from now on.

At its core Foot Factory has continued along the same path it was on when initially reviewed by providing an exclusive collection of foot and leg content. There have been some notable improvements though which have helped the site to improve in a couple areas. Beginning in the summer of '06 they switched from QT to WMV format for the movies. They've also done a nice job building up the video portion of the site so the collection is less picture-heavy than it was before. In fact they're at just about a hundred total vids (as of Oct '07) which is a respectable number of a fetish site like this. With well over a few hundred photo galleries too Foot Factory is a nice source for original foot and leg fetish material.
Score increased from 79.0 to 82.0.
