Member's Extreme is a network of fetish sites which is different than most networks out there. Most of the time networks cover a range of popular niches geared towards a general hardcore audience. Member's Extreme focuses entirely on different fetishes so they're definitely going after a more targeted audience.
The Goods:
- Unique Fetish Site Network. The sites seem to cover just about all aspects of the bdsm realm with specialties like pain, femdom, spanking, asian bondage, and a few others. The Titanic Titties site stands out a bit to me since the other sites are so bdsm/fetish oriented. Actually the more variety the better so the titties site is a welcome addition in my opinion.
- Content on All Sites is Dated. While there isn't an update summary on the network hub they make up for this by date-stamping the content throughout all the sites. From my browsing they seem to make steady additions across all the sites.
- Easy Network Navigation. The design isn't flashy but the network hub has a common sense layout. What I like best is that moving from site to site does not require re-entering the password. I get to review a lot of networks and this simple feature of not having to enter passwords over and over is always a big positive.
The Bads:
- Only QuickTime Video Format. This is the one area where Members Extreme really stubs their toe. Some surfers will like QT but my though is always that QT is nice as an additional option. Some form of WMV, MPEG, or AVI is what I like to see as a main format. Their QT only setup is something that guests will want to consider.
- A Couple Small Sites. A couple sites in the network have noticeably less content than the others and are small with fewer than 20 videos. Other than that the amount of stuff from site to site is fairly well balanced.
Conclusion:
To me the most important aspects of Members Extreme are the specialized fetish sites along with the QT video format. In both of these areas this network is different that what I'm used to. Based on the regular updates and short list of "coming soon" sites my guess is there will be quite a bit more to see here as time goes by. It'll be interesting to take a look when we get back for a follow-up review.
