Fetish nation is freaky little fetish site, where you can "explore your darkest fantasies." The site reflects this well with the black background with glowing purple highlights. Immediately on the splash page you'll get a good idea of what you'll be seeing inside, which appears to be some high-quality photography of girls in compromising positions. Photographer Ian Rath has been shooting for 20+ years, so he obviously knows what he's doing in that department.
The member's area looks much the same as the guest area, so no complaints there! The photo galleries are divided up into a few different sections, each with a slightly different theme. You can also browse through their models (only by name though initially), which also has links to their galleries. Based on this section, it looks like they may take photosets off the site after they've been up for a while (some models didn't have any sets online).
The photos are pretty cool. They have all the crazy contraptions needed for this type of work, and as we discovered, Ian knows how to work a camera. There were a few small issues I had, for one I didn't like the little image viewing script. It only allows 10 thumbs per page, with an awkward button interface at the bottom to get through the galleries. Second, the pictures were surprisingly small compared to what I thought they'd be (that's my own fault for assuming though). When you get into photography as good as Ian's, I love to see larger-than-life pics to show off the talents. Here, we get 800x600 shots which is good, just not great. The new galleries (a couple new sets each week it looks like) have zip files available for download, but after that they're no more. I really enjoy the coloring (bright clothing and props) and lighting in the photos. He keeps with his fetish theme without making the photos overly dark or ugly.
The videos section offers up similar work, but it's a bit different seeing it in motion. I think a bit of the artsy feel is taken away, and you're left more with the BDSM, sexual aspect of what they do. All videos are offered only in Real Video format, at only one quality level (about 225kbps). They do have a Real server, so that the videos start playing while they're still downloading, though you have to enter your damn user/pass each time. There's also a zip file of each video to download in case you want to save it on your computer for later viewing. The video itself looked decent for what it is (I'm not a huge fan of Real Video), but even double size and fullscreen looked ok. The content can get a bit disturbing when you hear the girls squeal in pain, but every once in a while you'll hear Ian or his assistant make sure the girls are ok and want to continue, so that's reassuring.
There's also an erotic art section (which is pretty small), and an ok-sized stories section. There's also an extensive links section, as well as info on any shows/gatherings that are upcoming. $19 a month isn't too bad for what you get, I only wish we had full access to all of the past photo and video sets as well. Besides wanting more content, about the only other thing I can complain about is the size of the images. Beyond that, the site is well done and I enjoyed it. Even if you're not heavy into the bondage scene, I think it's worth a look just to check out the photography.

You know what, the site looks much the same as last time! About the one positive change I saw was that the pictures appear to be larger now at 1,000x700 on the newer stuff. Unfortunately I don't remember which sets were here before, although the site doesn't seem to have grown a ton so I'm still thinking they may rotate content out here and there.
I like the content quite a bit still, although I feel my score was a little on the high side last time for all that you get. The site is still very similar, but my score will drop a bit to reflect better where it stands in the big picture.

Wow, I barely remember this one from a couple years back! Fetish Nation appears to be a lot bigger than last time, as it should be after that long. Pictures were a decent size now, up in the 1200x800 range from what I saw, so that old con is gone. The navigation wasn't the best but it worked. Videos now came in WMV files either playing in your browser (though not real streaming like they say), or downloadable in a zip file which is strange. Video quality could be a little better these days, though it's not too bad. The price is a little higher I think now, at $24 recurring at $22. Mostly I'll just be re-alligning scores to today's standards to get everything back in line. There's some nice stuff to see here, and the price isn't too bad for what you get.
