FC Nudes is up for review today, and the FC stands for First Class Nudes to be specific. It looks like a glamour site through and through, with hot models, sleek lines, and high definition videos all advertised in the tour. Unfortunately I never found any HD videos once inside, so there's a small notch against them off the bat. Otherwise, $30 a month gets you in the door, which is definitely on the expensive side.
The goods:
- Exclusive glamour content. This is less a photography site, and much more glamour, meaning more makeup, hotter models, etc. It's all exclusive as far as I know, and most all the sets here fit that glamour theme.
- Pictures look decent. They're not huge, but they look good anyway. Quality is good, lighting is good, and models are hot. I definitely wish they had larger photos though, especially for the niche they're in.
The bads:
- Quality isn't nearly as good as they claim. With no high definition videos (even though they advertised having them), and smaller photos than expected, I don't see how they can claim the #1 quality on the net. It's just not there in my opinion. Things don't look bad, but they don't look great either.
- Navigation is pretty plain. You have only one option to browse the site, which is by model. They definitely need to step it up and offer a larger updates listing, a search engine, or at least some browseable categories or something.
- Video downloads were a bit slow for me. I was buffering forever unfortunately, and finally got a video to start playing after I waited for 10 minutes or so, and then it started buffering again after a bit.
- Needs some growth; updates aren't dated. It's not a very large site at all, with around 30 models (100-200 pics each on average) and 30 videos. What's worse is that there is no update info, so I have no idea how often the site grows.
Conclusion:
Between the type of site and the promises made, I was excited when first hitting FC Nudes up. However, I'd say I was definitely let down here. The quality is good enough, but nothing that you could call the best on the net. The site is small, we're not sure if they update, and the site is just a bit plain overall. I'd love to see a ton more content, regular updates, better quality, and more, especially at the $30 price tag.
