Fat Joe's greasy short order cook mascot cracks me up. Of all the icons these guys could choose, they went with a fat ugly dude! To their credit it is unique and they've got some funny taglines that tie into that theme. Anyways the Fat Joes website is a network hub that includes a collection of four sites from varying niches.
The Goods:
- Unique Mix of Niches. The sites here include Brazilian, cumplay, blowjob/hardcore, and tranny niches. Each of the site's content is based on hardcore videos and taken all together there are several hundred movies on the network. After browsing around my feeling is the network would work best for those interested in blowjobs, cumshots, and ethnic girls since those are some of the most prevalent things I saw in their collection.
- Nice Video Quality. This applies mostly to the full-movie broadband files. The quality of these is pretty high especially for networks which can often times have more average looking videos. This site is above average in this area. The smaller clips that are offered aren't the strong point of the network as they're often only in the 56k version and are quite short at around 30 seconds long. Also on the Cum Slut I found the video archive had many lower quality vids in general. Basically the full-movie files are nice but things get shaky after that.
- Special Lower Price. These guys have set up a discounted price for TBP users which helps in the price and value fields.
The Bads:
- Tranny Site Doesn't Fit. For the vast majority of surfers the tranny site will be a throw-away since the other sites are geared towards an audience looking for chicks getting banged. Lots of networks throw in gay and/or tranny niches but it's magnified on Fat Joes because this one site constitutes 25% of the network.
- The Cum Slut Lower Quality Vids. Much of The Cum Slut is dedicated to an archive of the chick CJ getting banged and taking cumshots. The movies I sampled in her archive, including those under the High Bandwidth section, were choppy and not good quality. Outside of these there are only a handful that are more on par with the movies on the rest of the network so overall I found this site to be a weak link in the collection.
- Basic Network Design. These sites are laid out in a manner that makes it necessary to click "next page" links over and over to scroll through the videos. Also, The Cum Slut's archive of CJ's movies are simply text links with no preview pics at all.
Conclusion:
I'm not sure how Fat Joe's came up with the few niches to include in this network but it is certainly different from what I'm used to seeing. For future follow-ups it'll be interesting to see if they expand on the number of sites in order to grow into a more complete network that'll appeal to a wider audience with additional niches.
