(standard membership)Eroticy is up for review today, and I'd say at this point it's one of the older dating sites that's still around out there. I'll mostly be looking at the site through the eyes of a single male looking to hookup with a chick somewhere semi-local, since that's what most TBP users will be in the market for I assume. Unfortunately, it's not one of the best places to actually find women, since it's pretty filled up with ads and was never very helpful for me personally. Membership packages range from $25 to $35 a month depending on what level you're interested in, but they don't give you much details about those until you're ready to pay unfortunately.
Large collection of personal ads.
If you can call them all personal ads, and not just ads, there's a lot of "active users" here with profiles up. Their tour boasts over five million members, which seems very high. A search for local ladies produced a list several pages deep to check out. I just don't really think most of them are legit unfortunately (see below).
Lots of bonus material.
Almost more worthwhile than the personal aspect honestly, the bonus stuff can be a little interesting. The sex tips and articles are worth a read through. You can send ecards, try to find a legit blog amongst the ads, etc.
Most all of the ads seem fake here.
Browsing through lots of ads in the Colorado area yielded me nothing even close to exciting in terms of a prospect. If there was anyone exciting, I doubt they'd write back as they'd get thousands of weekly emails from poor schmucks like myself. The pictures in the profiles were anything from decent attempts at a passing photo to blatant ripoffs from magazine covers, porn sites, or just a random collection of girls that barely look alike. The ads are all very vague, and just want you to email them to get the full, "real" info on them. I have a sneaking suspicion that if you emailed anyone, you'd get a response needing you to join some other cam site or something to get to know them better.
Random search problems for me.
The search wasn't even all that useful here as I was getting results from other states. I put in a 75 mile radius from the Denver area and got results in Montana, Texas, and more. What good will they do me? They looked fake anyway, but still, at least get the basics right here.
Better navigation options needed.
The search looks cool at first, but it's rather basic in the long run. You can't even search or browse through only the verified ads, so I ended up not finding a single girl that was verified through an ID check, which isn't promising.
$25 or $35 a month seems pretty expensive for what you actually get here. I don't think you'll be finding any dates, or even anyone to chat with.
A good name with a pretty unfortunate product, especially for the money.
I just can't see any good reason to stick around Eroticy unfortunately. There's no way I'd get a legitimate response, even if I messaged hundreds of these ads. With a search that wasn't working too well, a membership cost that seems too high, and not much else to keep you busy except for some bonus content, I'd rather just spend money on a real porn site. Even compared to other dating sites, the results seemed like they'd be worst than usual here due to so many false profiles. The basics are all there, but I don't see this one doing you any good.
