Intro

Erotic Cinema is a straightforward video download site with a collection of thousands of individual scenes. The site is from Sextronix who operates a bunch of individual niche sites and Erotic Cinema is dedicated to the video niche. This company uses a template of having large collections of downloadable content although it is non-exclusive stuff. That's the case here as there are lots of movies in all sorts of styles from various studios/sources.

The Pros

Hardcore Downloadable Videos, 1000's of Total Scenes.

Erotic Cinema is a general hardcore video collection that covers all sorts of popular niches like amateurs, anal, blowjobs, lesbian, mature, teens, toys, etc. It's a whole lot of individual video scenes that incorporates both American and European stuff so it's quite a mix of content with newer, older, and in-between.

Solid Download & Streaming Options, Some HD Vids.

Consistency is strength of the content options as the video have full-scene WMV and MP4 files with mobile format as well. There is also in-browser Flash streaming. For the HD videos those specs are 1280x720 and both the WMV and MP4 formats have that level for the movies with high-def.

Other Good Stuff:

There is a dedicated HD section for those scenes and all HD videos are tagged/marked. Within niche sections you can also sub-filter down to see just the HD or SD scenes.
Clear file size and spec information is posted for each downloadable video.

The Cons

Mixed Bag of Non-Exclusive Content, No DVD/Movie Info.

Most of the time movie download sites like this are either DVD based or revolved around the collection from one studio. Either way you get some movie and/or pornstar info. Erotic Cinema isn't like that as it's just a big warehouse of individual scenes without much rhyme or reason. IT's sort of a grab bag of porn with some of the movies being better than others. There is a lot of familiar stuff that was recognizable to me.

Majority of Videos are in Standard-Def Level Only.

High-def is something that is touted on the guest tour so it's worth noting that the bulk of the collection has the standard-def specs. It seems that around 20-25% fall into the HD category. Older scenes can have lower specs down to 448x336 and the MP4 isn't offered on some older videos. Something else on the video is that the older scenes have just WMV for streaming instead of Flash.

Minor Negatives:

Updates are erratic and there isn't really a set schedule here. Our TBP content fact managers track this stuff and with Erotic Cinema the total number of videos bounces up-and-down instead of growing consistently.
The monthly price is somewhat expensive and the trial is only partial/limited access. There are also some member's area ads and upsells.
I ran into a few video/download issues like a corrupted file that couldn't be saved or only a partial video.

Bottom Line

A straightforward collection of hardcore downloadable videos.

Erotic Cinema is sort of a workmanlike site in that it's not flashy or covering new ground but it does have a large amount of videos for members to download. The HD newer videos is the one feature that probably stands out most on the positive side. On the negative side it's the lack of DVD or movie source info that is surprising and overall the collection is a mish-mash of content with good and not so good scenes.
