Today we're looking at a site called Eric Deman, and honestly I was pretty confused at first as to what we were looking at. It's a video clip site about famous men nude from what I can tell. Content ranges from nude athletes in the locker room, to parties, to frat boy stunts, to naked rock bands. The site itself is very plain and amateur in nature, so take it with a grain of salt. Membership is $35 for the first month, which is a bit outrageous. It drops down to $30 on the first rebill, which is slightly better.
The goods:
- Lots of videos up. It's a pretty unassuming site, but when you sit down and add everything up, their video clips number up in the tens of thousands (ok, barely). That's a lot of stuff to see here which is pretty impressive, especially considering they're in a not-too-popular niche.
- Multiple daily updates. Every day something new is put up, usually in the form of about five new video clips. Again, this is even more impressive considering the content they're working with here.
- Unique content. Celeb sites aren't anything new of course, but they're all focused on women. It's nice to see someone try something different here and introduce one about men. Granted it's not really a US-based site, so some of the sports stars may not be familiar, but it's a start.
The bads:
- Very plain site all around. I don't think there are any graphics on the whole site, except for the ads they throw in here and there. Add in lackluster navigation and not much info on the scenes, and you just get a plain site all around for me.
- Navigation is difficult. They actually give you a couple ways to browse, including some categories and browse by letter (which is strange considering some of the video titles). My main gripe here is that while browsing, there are no thumbnails or anything. You're stuck with a three-word description or so, which sometimes doesn't tell you a whole lot about what you're about to see.
- Mostly non US-based content. Anyone in the USA may not recognize all the "football" stars here too much, but hopefully that shouldn't take away from the site too much.
Conclusion:
Eric Deman is an interesting idea, and they offer up a lot of content and updates which is quite impressive considering they're the only male celebrity site I know of. The site itself is pretty bad all around, with a very uninteresting site, and not much in the way of options of info. It won't be for a lot of people, but I think the site will find more then a few fans for sure, so it's best to check out the tour and see if the content is what you're looking for.
