Eric Deman is a voyeur site featuring footage of male athletes, soldiers, and even prisoners caught naked. Scenes include things like naked wrestling, rugby initiations, locker room showers, drunk victory celebrations, on-field jock strap exposures, and Marine recruit bullying. The lads are mostly from the UK, and there are even some famous athletes caught with their trousers down on this site.
The Goods –
This is a very unique idea for a site. Voyeur footage of naked British athletes is a pretty specialized niche so it’s unlikely you’ll find much of their content on other sites. A lot of this original collection is exclusive and can’t be seen anywhere else.
They’ve got a really nice-sized collection of videos. There are currently over 13,165 clips online. Granted, they’re not terribly long at 3 minutes a piece, but you probably wouldn’t want this type of clip to be much longer anyway. There’s plenty here to enjoy.
Updates come just about every day. About six days a week you’ll find five new video clips added. It’s no wonder the site is as large as it is with such frequent, large updates.
The Bads –
The initial month is pretty expensive. It’ll cost you $35 for your first month of membership. After that, it drops down to $30 a month which still isn’t cheap.
The site design is very plain. It’s almost entirely text with just a few banners for other sites to break it up. It’s an extremely basic look that offers no personality. And while we’re on the subject, there are no scene descriptions either. All you get are file names like lms_2.avi or confetti_1.avi. Some kind of write-up explaining who and what we’re looking at would be nice.
There are no options for viewing any of the videos. Each scene comes in one format (either wmv, mpeg, or avi), in one quality setting with no choice of full-length scenes instead of clips. It would be great to have some consistency and options for viewing the videos.
Conclusion –
I’m pretty impressed that Eric Deman has such a large collection of original, unique videos. This is a pretty small niche, to be able to offer over 13,000 video clips. Most of them don’t look bad, either. I just wish the site was better. The looks and functions of the site are so basic, that it’s hard to fully get into. With a collection like this, the site could go far but first I think it needs a pretty big overhaul.
