Not knowing what the word enigmatic meant exactly, I looked it up and was surprised to find out that it was similar to the word ambiguous: a bit confusing as to the meaning or purpose. Why someone would name a site Enigmatic Boys is beyond me honestly, but here it is. Watch the fuck out for the loud music on their warning page that blasts out of nowhere! It doesn't contain any porn sounds or anything, but if you're at work or something, you don't want people to look over when it starts up. It seems to be a site about younger guys posing nude, and features all exclusive content they claim. There's some gay material around as well, though a majority seems to be solo material. A membership will set you back $24 for the first month, and $20 each month thereafter.
The goods:
- Content looks nice. Pictures are large and clear, in the 1600x1200 range if you look at the "normal" sized versions. Videos look very nice as well overall with good encoding, lighting, coloring, etc.
- All exclusive material. It's clear they shoot everything themselves, which is especially nice for a gay site since I think the content pool is a little smaller in that arena. The content is consistently good because of this, which is just another added bonus (besides seeing stuff you haven't seen before).
The bads:
- Navigation is a bit annoying. Some of the menu links take you outside of the member's area for some reason, and you always have the link to join the site (even once you're inside). Even the link to the videos is setup in the free area of the server for some reason.
- Galleries aren't dated. At first I didn't see dates of any kind here until I saw a little text at the very top of the page. Specific galleries don't have dates on them, so you'll have to guess/assume that the galleries they show first are the newer ones. Otherwise, the most recent update and the next update date are visible, and it looks like they update once a week on Sundays.
- Could still use some growth. It's not too small of a site, but I think some time to grow would do the site well here still. There's under 100 galleries and under 100 video sets, so it should keep you busy for a bit, but more is always better.
Conclusion:
The content here is very nice and fun. It looks great all around (even the older sets) and is their biggest asset. The site itself could use a little tweaking, and of course I always want more content for the money. In time, this could definitely be a nice collection of exclusive gay material that looks great.
