Earl Miller is another one of those guys who uses his website to showcase the work from a career in professional photography. The Best Porn has reviewed a handful of similar sites and most of these people have very impressive resumes and Miller is no exception. His claim to fame, if you will, is that he is Penthouse Magazine's Most Published Photographer. Hmmm, do you think Penthouse's bankruptcy filing has had anything to do with Miller's decision to put his work online and make money that way? Just a thought.
The content is precisely what is to be expected from a Penthouse Photographer. The models are pornstars and the photographs are well touched up with plenty of airbrushing. The shoots are porn-movie style. By that I mean even the hardcore stuff is pretty staged and none of the action appears to be off-the-cuff. Over 200 models can be seen in the galleries and it's a varied mix of softcore, girl/girl, and boy/girl. These are organized both by category and in an alphabetical model index. Featured sections include a Girl of the Week, Shoot of the Week, and Centerfold (monthly). Picture quality is very high although I've seen better. Most pics are viewable in two sizes 800 and 1024. There are 33+ QuickTime videos as of this review (1/20/04) and some tend to be more behind-the-scenes style. Otherwise they are a typical group of pornstars solo(21), girl/girl(7), and boy/girl(5). The coolest part of the content is the Penthouse collection. Here you'll find exclusive galleries of Penthouse shoots from throughout the years. It's always fun to see porn from the '80's - get ready for big hair and headbands.
I don't know if it's fair for me to comment on the site design. There's a notice at the top of the members area stating that an entire re-design is in the works. Currently it's simply a bland gray background with simple tables and text links. All the sections are easily accessible and worked just fine. I'll comment more when I write a supplement to this review in the future.
Members also get some additional 3rd party content, typical stuff you can find in many paysites. Really, guys who will enjoy EarlMiller.com are those who are really into either Penthouse style pics or pornstars. The big plus with this site is it's an exclusive collection of work, but on the minus side most of these chicks pose for similar photo shoots for many other photographers too.

We wrote our initial review on Earl Miller around 10 months ago. At that time I didn't discuss the design in detail since it was supposedly undergoing a redesign. Looking at it now, I guess that never happened. The member's area still looks the same; it's a simple gray background with text links. I don't know, maybe this is the redesign they were thinking of. Whatever the case, the free tour is certainly more impressive than the inside. Still, they are updating the content daily with a new photo set or video each time. Certainly that's more important than a new look would be.
The number of videos has increased to over 80 clips (previously there were just 33). On top of that all except the 33 oldest are now offered in both WMV and QuickTime formats (and the WMV files can be downloaded!). The old ones remain as QT only. So my overall impression this time is that Earl Miller is the same site it was before but with more content and improved video formatting. These scores have changed: Exclusive -0.5, Updates +1.5, and Download +0.5.

In this my second follow-up review of Earl Miller I have similar thoughts as I did during the first follow-up. Nothing drastic has changed but little things continue to improve. Updates continue regularly and the video collection now has a solid number of scenes in both the Solo and Guy/Girl categories. There are also a couple dozen of the girl/girl variety too. In the past couple of years the video quantity and formatting has come a long way. Newer picture galleries now have 3 picture resolutions including the bigger 1280 size that are large and quite impressive. One final change is the price which is now an exlusive bargain at $19.95/mo for TBP surfers. These scores have changed: Features +0.5, Design +0.5, Price +1.5, and Value +1.
