Double View Casting is up for review today, and they take the typical casting couch hardcore scene and add a second camera in there to make things unique. One is a normal camera angle, changing with the needs of the scene, and the other is a POV from the dude fucking her with a camera on his head. How the girls can help from cracking up at this site is beyond me, but who cares. Both scenes are shot in HD, and they even have a software download that's supposed to let you switch easily between the two views. $30 a month gets you in the door and access to one other network site it seems.
The Pros
All scenes offered in high definition.
I love that all of the scenes here are in HD. Even the 2nd viewing angle comes in just as high of quality as the original. It helps them stand out from the crowd, and the videos look a little better than expected because of it.
Unique two camera setup.
The gimmick here, besides the simple casting couch porn tryout theme, is that they shoot all scenes from two cameras: one is normal and changing, while the other is a POV from the guy fucking. Put those two together, and you can choose how you want to view each scene on an individual basis.
The Cons
Navigation is quite plain.
The whole layout of the site is pretty simple to a fault right now. There are no features or options to help you narrow the content down, and not even a models index to browse through. Plus, each scene is so large in the preview area that they can't fit enough scenes on a page, which makes for too much clicking around.
Needs more content.
At just a bit over 30 scenes, there isn't a ton to see here for now. Add in the slow updates, and it's not a good situation in terms of content numbers. You could get through their offerings rather quickly, and then there's not a whole lot to do otherwise except wait for the next update.
Updates are slow to come.
At best, updates seem to come every 10-11 days, which is slow enough. However, sometimes you'll have to wait even longer for the next scene. I understand they might have a little more work than the normal porn site with two videos to shoot and encode, but that's no excuse unfortunately.
No info/help given for DoublePlayer software, didn't work well.
They have this software that lets you switch back and forth between the two video angles instantly, which would be cool, if it worked. I downloaded it, and had no idea if I should enter my user/pass, or just use the demo version (use the demo, btw). From there, it took forever to download both versions of the video into the player, and then you could finally start playing it. I did just that, and tried to jump ahead with the slider, which froze the player completely. It was just too much for for what it was worth.
Minor Negatives:
Even using a download manager, I was only able to get around 35-40% of my max speed. Using a single browser download, or their software, and it gets that much worse.
For some reason, they don't offer any streaming or Flash videos, which may annoy some.
Downloads are only offered in a single WMV option for each video. More video types would help, as would other quality levels perhaps.
Bottom Line
An interesting idea, and they have some good scenes, but it's not perfect.
Double View Casting offers up some decent content, and for that reason, it's worth a look. All of the scenes come in high definition, and the girls are cute, and the fucking is fun. Their gimmick works well enough, but not if you try to use the software, which was way too buggy for me on a fairly powerful computer. Also, they lack in terms of content numbers and updates, which are small and infrequent respectively. The site and options are pretty plain as well, which doesn't help things either. There's some definite work that needs to be done here, but the foundation is good. With some upgrades, and a lot of time, it could be a fun destination down the road.
