Desipapa is back up for review today, and since this is our fourth look at the site, we decided to start anew here. Desipapa is a pretty unique site offering porn from India, which is a pretty rare find. The content comes mostly in the form of DVD's, so I'm thinking it's not exclusive. While it's a unique site, it's always been a little rough around the edges unfortunately. That means lackluster design and navigation, and lackluster quality as well. Still, you get a lot of content these days for your $23 per month at least, and like I said, it's unique.
The goods:
- Unique Indian content available. For there being so many people in India, you don't really see much Indian porn it seems. It could be a little more rare in their culture I guess, but there's some unique content here at least.
- Lots to see overall. There are over 300 scenes here, which is quite a bit for a niche site like this. The site is growing, albeit slowly, so the numbers should hopefully keep heading up.
The bads:
- Quality needs work. Most all of the videos here are just not that good-looking. At best you'll get about 480x360, while most are smaller yet. The bitrates aren't great either. Since they're grabbing these from DVD's possibly, I'd say it's definitely possible to bump the quality up.
- Navigation isn't the best. They just basically list the videos, two per row, with each year taking up a whole page. It's very tough to tell (without reading, who reads!) that kind of scene it is. A search feature would help, or at least some categories, or better thumbnails at a minimum.
- Updates aren't really dated, seem slow. They only date the last and next update, and currently those are over a month apart. I'm not sure how many videos are added per update, but the monthly schedule isn't too promising.
Conclusion:
In the end, Desipapa is just an okay site for me. The content is unique, and that will be the big draw here. Otherwise, the site isn't the best, the quality needs work, and updates seem slow. It's not even exclusive material from what I can tell. Since it's one of the few decent Indian sites out there, it's worth a look, but I'd say it doesn't quite compare to the generic paysites we usually see out there for now.
