This is a full re-review of Digital Desire. TBP has had published reviews on this site for several years and it's time for a fresh look. This has been one of our highest rated glamour photography sites and if you check out the guest tour it's easy to see why. A professional design, gorgeous models, and high quality content are the key items to any site in this niche and these guys do a good job of bringing them all together.
The Goods:
- Exclusive Glamour Content, Hot Models. When it comes to the picture galleries Digital Desire is right up near the top of the list of glamour photography sites. The models are sexy pro babes in stylish stripping/posing shoots. The majority are solo girl though there are sections of girl/girl and Xtreme action too. Other sections that add variety are Amateurs, Talent Search, Flashbacks, Backstage, Hooters, and others.
- High-Res Pics/Vids, Many Viewing Options. The high-res pictures come in at 3000k and on those with the highest quality there are three other quality choices as well. Zip files are available do download each gallery. The videos are in quite a number of formats including WMV, DivX, QT, and iPod. The quality of these is very respectable as well.
- Daily Updates, Calendar Logs. The updates are actually showcased in two separate ways: monthly and weekly. The monthly is a full calendar layout with archives that can be scrolled through and has a ton of archival information. The weekly provides more details on the most recent days showing usually 3-4 new galleries/videos each day. Furthermore a "Daily Word" section has weekday postings/commentary/pics from J. Stephen Hicks.
- Professional Design w/ Model Index. The design is fitting the content style with an impressive layout with solid graphics and categorized header tabs. The member's main page provides a good summary of the site's material with links to some galleries/videos, the updates section, and a model index. With the amount of content the model index is a useful tool for getting at the material in a straightforward way.
The Bads:
- Some Average Quality Older Pictures. Browsing the different parts of the site I did run into a pretty good number of galleries where they didn't have the high-resolution option available. The choices on them varied with either two resolutions or three resolutions available. Many of these galleries are in the more specific content sections like Amateurs and Pornstars.
- A Few Confusing Content Categories. There were a couple of design/navigation issues that did bother me a little bit. First off the picture and video categories like Covergirls, Dreamgirls, Creamgirls, Dream Sessions, and Dream Flicks don't really tell me much about what the difference is between the shoot styles. Secondly I think the model index would be helped by adding model categories sorting features by physical characteristics, clothing styles, etc. That was the one navigation function that they haven't provided.
Conclusion:
As far as glamour photography sites go Digital Desire is on the short list of high quality sites. They have a large collection of photo galleries with some nice variety that goes beyond just solo performances by pro models. The collection of a few hundred movies means there is enough of those that they really help to add value to the site as well. Based on the history of daily updates the growth will simply continue in the future.
