DDF Prod is up for review today, and if you lengthen that to DDF Productions, you'll get the company name of the network site we're reviewing today. A lot of their sites have been on top of our lists for years, and now they've opened up a network site that's (hopefully) here to stay. It was a temporary thing at first, but it should be doing well for them, and their users. They upped the price a little bit to $35 a month, but that now gets you access to all of their sites, and there are some good ones: 1 By Day, Only Blowjob, Hot Legs and Feet, DDF Busty, Hands on Hardcore, and more. Combine all this together, and you have a high-quality powerhouse with a lot of content and updates. Let's jump inside and see how they've done putting all the sites under one roof.
The Pros
Navigation options are getting better.
I was here at the network a month or so ago, and the site has come a long way. I really like all the options they have put up, and my only complaint is that I wish it was laid out better (see below). However, they give you some solid initial options. There's an advanced search to find specific types of content. You can view all the network content in one place, filter it down by site, or jump straight to the site itself to view the content there. There's also the standard index of models in case you fall in love with any of these girls.
Quality is good all around.
Quality has always been a strong point here at the DDF sites, and that (mostly) continues today. Pictures look great, with awesome lighting, bright colors, and more. Videos look great as well, even the SD ones, but the newer high-definition videos really stand out. I won't go so far as to say they're top dog in terms of quality these days, but it's very high overall.
Lots of updates of course.
When you add all these sites together, with some of the sites offering daily updates themselves, there's a lot of new content going up here. I counted everything up for the last week and found 21 new photo and video scenes up, which averages out to three per day of course.
Good video options.
The choices for viewing videos here are pretty impressive without going overboard. Each video is offered in two WMV downloads (one is in HD if they have it), a DivX download, a Quicktime (MOV) download, some small MPG clips to download, or two different streaming Flash options as well. Yay for choices!
Other Good Stuff:
There's a good variety of things to see here. While some sites are quite vanilla, they delve into some minor niches such as blowjobs, legs/feet, boobs, lesbians, and of course the taboo BSDM site.
When using a download manager, their downloads came in full speed maxing out our connection, which was great for the large videos.
For how many models they have here, I was impressed with the bios and information they had on them. It really added to the personality aspect of the site.
Switching around to the individual sites was really easy, even with their fancy script for logging in. It did all the hard work for you without any hiccups.
Just as the video options are good, the photo options are decent as well with three picture sizes, plus a zip file of course.
The Cons
Main network navigation is a bit weak.
They have all the right parts in place, I just don't feel it was put together as well as it could be. With only 14 scenes per page, they had to put up 222 pages of content to fit it all, which is just dumb. I'd love to see this main navigation streamlined a bit, with smaller thumbs, and then combine that with the advanced search (or at least some filters). That would help narrow things down a bit easier, and it'd help you wade through it all that much quicker as well.
Some sites may share content.
When bouncing around from site to site, don't be surprised if one or two scenes look familiar. Some of their sites are nothing more than a collection of content from their other sites. That doesn't take away from what they have, but say on the blowjob site or teen site, it may be just taken from one of their larger sites.
Streaming video needs an upgrade.
I like that they give you two different quality options for streaming, but at this point, the video isn't even really streaming. You have to wait to jump around until the video has been downloaded, which can take some time. I'm sure they can get a slick setup to make the streaming more instant and available.
Search could be done better.
I like all the categories they have in the search, and I like that you can combine them, but the results display is pretty pathetic. Many of them are duplicates, and they're laid out totally wrong. I'd love to see this cleaned up quite a bit. You could also add to it as well with a model's search (find all 30 year old blondes with small boobs), which could be combined with the categories as well to find specific scenes (all blondes who do lesbian threesomes).
Pictures could be larger.
For how good the pictures look with nice lighting and good technical specs, they're a bit on the small side for what I was expecting. They're probably larger than a lot of sites at 2000x1333 or so, but this is DDF, and I think they can do better.
Minor Negatives:
It's not over the top, but the price is higher than most sites/networks that we see these days at $35 a month.
There aren't many extras here. Don't expect to see any forums, blogs, interaction with the girls, cam shows, etc.
I think they should feature their HD videos better. Add it to the search options as a start, and also let you know which sites have them. Plus, let's just have all new videos come out in HD from this point forward!
The airbrushing can be a little intrusive at times, and may be too much for some. It fits the bill in terms of the glamour content they offer, but I think it should be minimal.
The design of the actual network site could be better. It's a little plain, especially when compared to the designs on the individual sites.
Thankfully the list is quite short, but a couple sites no longer update here - the two I found were the solo sites of Cherry Jul and Sandy's Fantasies.
Bottom Line
If you like the glamour content here, this join is a no brainer.
I love the network idea here, as it gives you access to everything they have to offer, and it's a nice wide variety of content. The solo glamour stuff is great, as they have some good models. But then they get those same models to fuck guys or girls, or be tied up. The hallmarks of the DDF sites are all here, including good quality, daily updates, and lots of options. I think there's some small room for improvement still: even higher quality (all HD going forward, larger pictures), more/better navigation options and features for the network, and possibly a few more extras. Overall, though, you get a ton of content, a lot of updates, great options, hot girls, and hopefully a good time. As the network continues to be perfected, I only expect this one to get better in time.
