DareRing.com has an interesting concept for a site. They actually take the "truth or dare" game online by offering different games to download and play along with for a one-time fee of $19.95. It's not clear whether or not new games are being added, but currently there are 12+ online to choose from. A 3GB per day download limit is in place, and to be honest, I'm not sure they need that. But I digress, if you're looking for a fun game to spruce up those Saturday night get together's, then this is certainly a unique site to check out.
The Good:
- Dare Ring is a unique site and probably the only site on the Internet where you can download not only video content of girls & boys playing the Dare Ring game, but also offers a set of rules, game cards, and ideas so you can play too. A few bonus games are also listed and include things like naked twister, spin the bottle, strip poker and ring toss.
- The video downloads offer nice quality streams as high as 1300k. Once you get inside the member's area, the games are listed and broken down into parts much as they are in the tour, and considering each is anywhere from 12-20 minutes in length, that makes it easy.
The Bad:
- Well, there are only 12 videos/games here and I don't see anything new being added anytime soon. At least, there's no talk about it on the site, and the fact that the price is set-up as a onetime fee makes me think that's the case. At least they're honest and not charging recurring fees, right?
- I like that each game offers a series of rounds/downloads, but a full-length file would be a nice offering as well. And even though the quality is nice, some more download/viewing options in general would really help.
- Each game lists the players, or models, but doesn't offer any sort of bio or content information. For a site that could have so little content yet so much personality, they really dropped the ball on the personality front.
The Conclusion:
You know, what the hell! If you have any interest at all for something a little different and/or something you can take home to your friends, then check DareRing.com out. It is an interesting and unique site that delivers exactly what it offers and nothing more. A one-time fee of about $20 bucks gets you access to a fair amount of lengthy video downloads and you can watch real amateurs go at it based on the game created by the site. For what it is, I enjoyed the uniqueness of this site, I only wish they offered some more personality in the way of scene and model (player) information.
