As a reviewer I get a chance to visit all sorts of porn sites and occasionally something new will show up on the "To Be Reviewed" list. Dare Ring features a video collection of "truth or dare" group sex activities. Take a look at the sample pics on the guest tour and you'll get an idea what they're talking about. This is indeed a style of content that I've not seen before.
The Goods:
- Original Concept w/ Lengthy Episodes. The movies, or "Games" as they're called, make up the content along with a few bonus videos like strip poker, twister, etc. The length of each game surprised me at around 25-30 minutes each. Everyone starts out clothed and by the end there is all kinds of sex play going on.
- Mix Girl/Girl, Guy/Girl & Group Action. What you'll find in the shoots includes stripping, girl/girl sex, blowjobs, and some groupsex. It's a pretty decent mix with all amateur looking performers. There are many girls each which is good time with usually one or two dudes thrown in to the mix.
The Bads:
- Small Site, No Update Info. The site has a dozen full "Games" plus a half-dozen bonus videos so it's a small site. That's why the good length of each episode is important. No dates are provided so updates are a mystery.
- No Episode Details/Background. With this style content I would think they'd provide a paragraph or so to set things up or introduce the performers. Instead all that's offered is the names of the models.
- No Vid Options & Download Limit. No info about the downloadable clips is offered other than a "download" link. They're all in WMV format without any quality choices. A note at the top of the page clearly notes that there is a daily download limit equal to about the length of two full "Games".
Conclusion:
The actual video quality is pretty solid even though there aren't any options. Overall Dare Ring's biggest asset are the unique style video shoots whereas the lack of update and episode info are the biggest drawbacks. The other part of the site is the message board which does have reasonable amount of activity and views. One thing that can't be disputed is that this isn't the type of site you see every day.
