Dainews.nu is a celebrity website featuring nude and non-nude photos of female singers, models and actresses. I'll be honest with you. When I first arrived here I was less than impressed with the tour. With no real graphics to speak of and a text laden main page I was doubting the overall quality of the site. Once I started reading the text, however, my interest was piqued. The number of pictures is clearly available and it is impressive, as are the claims of daily updates and an 8 day trial membership of only $4. So far so good!
Though the design is not exactly attractive, it's clear a lot of thought went into the structure of the site. The options for browsing and searching are very impressive. When you enter the member's area the first thing you'll see are how many pictures are currently online and how many have been added since your last visit. After picking your jaw up off the ground (they do update every day and there are 264,000 pictures available as of 1/04), you can begin your search. The search criteria include when the pictures were added, how much nudity you want to see and what minimum picture quality you want. You can even set your display preferences! You can also search or browse by celebrity name. Just want to see the best? View the top 100 most popular celebrities from the last 30 days. After selecting the celeb of your choice, you'll be presented with thumbnails of all of her pictures. Below each thumbnail is a quality and nudity rating, the image size and when it was added. This much information is a great addition to a site like this. I found Dainews very easy to maneuver.
The pictures, of course, are much like you'd find on other quality celebrity websites. There is a good range of explicitness, with, as expected, the majority of the photos falling into the non-nude categories. Pictures are grabbed from a variety of sources including video captures from the celeb's movies and both promotional and paprazzi photos. This is one thing that I am a big fan of that I feel is lacking on some of the other large celebrity sites. The promotional pictures are often such good quality and the paprazzi catch the really juicy moments that just would be a shame not to include. The list of celebrities is very complete. There are currently over 11,000 celebs with pictures available and I couldn't come up with anyone that they did not include. Quality is consistant with other celebrity sites (in other words, all over the board). The only thing that might be lacking on this site is video clips (there are none). There is a very active message board that discusses everything from the best nude scene of 2003 (Christina Ricci, Prozac Nation) to whether Renee Zellweger looks better skinny or chubby (chubby won). It's nice to see such an active community here.
I really think Dainews.nu is one of the best celebrity websites around. Between the daily updates, the great navigation, huge archive and inexpensive membership cost ($10/mo), you can't go wrong here. My only two complaints would be the not-so-attractive design and the lack of movies. Those are two very minor points, though. Whether or not you're into celebrity nudes, everyone has a favorite actress or singer they'd love to sneak a peek at so I will enthusiastically recommend this site to all our surfers.

It's been over a year and a half since we last visited Dainews and literally the only thing that has changed is the content count. The site has grown from 264,000 pictures of 11,000 celebs to 338,000 pictures of 13,000 celebs. That's just a huge collection! Though the site is still badly in need of aesthetic redirection, you can't argue with daily updates for a mere ten bucks a month. I'm still a big fan of Dainews and definitely recommend it to anyone even a little bit curious about celeb nudes. My scores are already high to begin with for this quality site so I'm leaving them as is. If you've got $10 to spare I suggest checking out Dainews.
