CyberAge has been around almost as long as I have it seems, at least in terms of the internet. They're an AVS/AEN type site, with thousands of sub-sites available with your one membership. Though the content is similar, each of these sub-sites is unique and setup differently, which isn't a great thing in my opinion (more on that later). There are different tiers of membership, and you always start with a $20 yearly regular membership (or $65 lifetime) that comes with a free trial of their Platinum sites. If you don't cancel this Platinum membership, it'll rebill at $20 a month as long as you stay a member.
The goods:
- Lots of content. There's no getting around the fact that they just have a ton of material here. Forget the rest of the problems, if you're willing to put the work in, you can find a lot of porn here one way or another.
- Sites are well categorized. Getting through the list of sites isn't that bad, though it's still not ideal for me. They at least do the best with the system they have. Plus, having just one login password (no username), makes getting in that much quicker.
The bads:
- Navigation (by nature) isn't the best. It's just not the best way to browse content with all the sub-sites. You have to enter thousands of them to see a lot of content. Many of them are small, not updated, etc. It's just too much work for too little if you ask me.
- Sub-sites aren't very impressive. Many of them are smaller, they aren't designed the best, most don't update, etc. On top of that, you have to browse through tons of them, and hope that you randomly picked ones with content you enjoy.
- Non-exclusive content. Across the board they only offer generic, non-exclusive content unfortunately. There's a lot of it, but that doesn't make it any more exciting.
- Quality isn't great. It varies a bit of course, but overall I'd say the quality is below par on the sites. I'd guess that mostly the sites are older, which means the content is older, and there's no way they're clearing any of the old stuff out to dwindle their numbers.
Conclusion:
My gut feeling is that the whole AVS/AEN thing has run its course. They were wildly popular back in the early adult internet, but there's just no benefit to them anymore. There are better ways to get your content, and better content out there. Yes, there is a lot of content, but when it's such a pain to get to it, it makes the process not too fun. Plus, once you get to it, the content isn't that exciting anyway. If you just need some cheap porn, join their basic membership and enjoy what you get, but know there are better ways to get the same things done.
