Not enough performers online at a time.
During my visit to Cupido Cam, there were only six guys online performing! That's consistent with the number online during other reviewers visits, as well, so unfortunately it wasn't a fluke. That's just not enough. When you figure at any give time a couple of them are already in shows, there are even fewer to choose from. With such a small number online, you also may not find the guy you're looking for. A large number of models in the collection does little good with so few of them online at a time.
Expensive.
The site deals in "coins". Coins cost between $1.25 and $1.10 each. Private shows cost between 4 and 12 coings per minute. Group shows cost between 2 and 6 coins per minute. Voyeur shows cost between 1 and 3 coins per minute. So you could end up paying as much as $15 a minute, if you bought the smallest coin package and you picked the most expensive performer! That's the most extreme case, but still, you can count on spending at least $4.40 a minute on a private show. In just 7 minutes, you've spent an entire month's membership at a regular paysite.
Video quality was pretty average.
The actual quality of a performer's video will vary somewhat depending on their own internet connections, as well as the time they've taken to make their own location look good with proper lighting. There were a couple that looked good, but overall I wasn't impressed. A webcam pointed at your clothed cock under your desk won't have the best lighting, you know. The streams were around 3-5 fps and they looked like typical webcam scenes, which is fine but not great.
Minor Negatives:
- There aren't enough browse features on the site. Eight categories are provided but they don't really provide enough organization. The only other tool is a country list. There's no way to search through the guys by physical feature or what they like to do on cam. I also had a hard time finding out that they guys with "Free Chat" were the ones that were online. A separate online section would be helpful.
