Cruiser Boys presents “Hot Jocks from Southern California.” These gay amateur hotties come from the valleys and the beaches, all with tight bodies that they love to put into action. Some are straight, some are gay, some are gay for pay. They look great in and out of their jeans and t-shirts, whether posing playfully or seducing a buddy.
The Goods –
The guys here are very hot. This is a really studly collection with sexy models in great solo and hardcore scenes. I get the impression that this is all original material, so I don’t think you’ll find these guys anywhere else.
They’ve got a nice-sized collection of scenes! There are currently over 450 online, and each includes photos and videos. A new hottie is added once a week, and has been since 2000, so it seems this large site will continue to grow at a solid pace.
The videos look great! Newer scenes play in Windows Media at 3000k and they’re 1280x720 in size. They look excellent! Unfortunately, they only made that change about six months ago and all scenes prior to that play in Quicktime (and they’re zipped, on top of that). The older ones look average, so it’s good to see such a huge upgrade has been made.
The Bads –
The site design is really simple. You get a white table on a red page. There are no real graphics or anything to spice things up. Granted, it’s a very clean look, it’s just a tad on the boring side.
There are no tools for getting around the site. I suppose this is the more serious side of my last point. Literally all you get here are tables and lists. There’s no way to browse the guys by name, search them out by physical feature, or browse by solo or hardcore. That’s really not cool on a site of this size. You’ll end up doing way too much random clicking to find who you’re looking for.
I got several site errors while I was visiting. It was really odd because one minute I’d be getting script errors and then the page would load fine. Another time I’d get a server error and then refresh and it would work. I don’t know if this was a fluke or not but it was frustrating.
Conclusion –
Cruiser Boys is a tough one for me! I think the guys are absolutely gorgeous and I love their new high definition videos! There’s a lot to enjoy here. It’s a shame that so much of the collection is just in Quicktime, though. It’s also disappointing that there are no tools for navigating this huge site. It’s really a conundrum. For $30 a month, I’d recommend joining. Although the site does need work in a few areas, overall this is a hot and entertaining collection that members will enjoy.
