Combat Zone is up for review today, and ironically, there's really no theme going on here. It's actually a pretty straight-up hardcore site, featuring just the normal niches you'd expect to see in porn: boy/girl, girl/girl, and some threesomes here and there. It's a large site and offers exclusive content, but that's about all that really helps it stand out. Membership is $30 a month, which seems a little on the high side, but not too bad overall.
The goods:
- Decent-sized site. I'd say the size of the site is one of the best thing it has going for it. They've made it up and over the 200 scene mark, which is impressive considering the content is all exclusive here.
- Updates come regularly. Every week, a new scene is added, which no doubt has helped them get the good numbers they have today. I guess I wouldn't mind seeing even more updates, but you can't complain about the consistency at least.
The bads:
- Quality is just average. The videos look fine enough, but aren't anything too great. I'd say they're on par with what we usually see, if not slightly on the low end of that. A bump in quality wouldn't hurt at all, especially if they made the leap to HD.
- Nothing stood out as great. Everything right down to the theme of the site is just pretty average here overall. The one thing that helps them stand out is the larger site, which is nice to have. Otherwise, the options, info, quality, update schedule, etc. all are just very lackluster overall. They offer the basics, but they don't ever go above and beyond.
Conclusion:
Combat Zone is fine enough, but I think my second con in the list pretty much sums the site up. There's just nothing that's too exciting overall here unfortunately. It's not a bad site by any means, with over 200 exclusive scenes available. However, they never go beyond the call of duty in any areas, and the site feels pretty average overall to me. That could change with some site changes, but for now it's just okay for me.
