I didn’t know what to expect on a site titled Combat Zone, but I was a little surprised to find mainstream sucking and fucking here. No hand grenades or bdsm, just straight up hot girls and studly guys having sex. The site is produced by New Sensations, a video company that has been entertaining porn consumers for many years, so you can expect more of the hot starlets and non-stop fucking on their site Combat Zone.
The Goods –
All of the content here is exclusive. They’ve produced everything in this collection themselves. They’ve worked with some well-known models, like Bree Olson, Sasha Gray, Amy Reid, and more, and it’s always great to see these popular girls in fresh new material.
They’ve got a good-sized collection of videos. There are currently over 200 scenes online, and a new one is added every week. Each scene includes 20-25 minutes of video, a vidcap gallery, and a digital photo gallery. There’s plenty to keep fans entertained.
The Bads –
The member’s area had a few too many ads for my liking. There’s a section on the left of every page that has links to “premium services”, like sex toy stores and live cam sites that you have to pay extra for. There are also small banners to other paysites. The design isn’t much to look at to begin with and these ads do nothing to help.
Video quality was average. The scenes play in Windows Media in three quality settings, up to 1400k, and in Real Media at 350k. The videos were just a bit too grainy. They certainly didn’t live up to the tour claims of “crystal-clear near-DVD quality”. I really expected more.
There aren’t enough tools for getting around the site. The main page features the most recent update and the next update. Scroll down to view the rest of the collection in the order the scenes were added. The only additional option is viewing the scenes in the order they were rated. The problems are that there’s no model index, no categories, and the preview thumbnails are too small. It’s a pretty basic set-up that could be improved.
Conclusion –
As much as I enjoyed the sexy movies on Combat Zone, I was less than impressed with the site itself. With too many ads, not enough tools, and average-looking videos, it didn’t strike me as a user-friendly site. However, there is a lot to enjoy here and the price of $30 a month is ok. All in all, the site is worth a look if you enjoy very hot models having loud and wild sex, but a few tweaks could be made to improve things overall.
