Combat Zone is somewhat of an odd title for a video niche site but I suppose it is kind of memorable which works in their favor. The content is a collection of movie scenes from New Sensations. Guests can get quite a good feel for the collection from the guest tour especially by checking out the models and update pages. Guy/girl hardcore is the foundation of what's offered with some variation like threesomes.
The Goods:
- 100s of Hardcore Videos, Sexy Pro Models. These videos from New Sensations have a level of production value that is noticeable. The girls are hot young chicks and although there aren't movie type plots these are professional style studio shoots. It's a solid collection of downloadable hardcore videos and while the majority of models have one shoot there are some with multiple appearances available.
- Full-Video Files & Clip Segments. WMV is the base format for the movies here with full-video file downloads available which works well for these scenes. In addition there are 3 minute WVM clip segments that initially open with an in-browser stream and from that page they can be downloaded too. Three quality levels of the WMV clips are offered plus there's one level of Real Player as another format choice.
- File Size & Update Info, Scene Ratings. These are the details provided for the individual videos. The individual movie pages have the model names and a short written description plus movie file sizes along with date-added info. There is also a 10-star rating system that does have varied scores.
The Bads:
- No Niche Breakdown of Model Index w/ Pics. The two main navigation methods are chronological browsing and a model name drop down scroll box. The model list doesn't have any preview pics which takes away from its usefulness even though many of the names are recognizable. They've forgone having niche categorization which makes navigation less user-friendly than it could be with some simple categories.
- Some Member's Area Upsell Links. The left margin has a section dedicated to premium services which are PPV cam show stuff, dating services, and on-demand movies. There is also a special offer advertisement for another paysite. Aside from the upsell aspect of these items it seems like a misuse of space where they could put additional navigation features.
Conclusion:
One specific item I haven't discussed yet is the actual update pace. They add one new scene each Friday which is actually a bit slower than I would have expected. Overall Combat Zone is a good source of video scenes from New Sensations featuring a bunch of sexy starlets. The full-movie downloads are something that jump out as a real positive while the minimal number of browsing features is that thing that could really be improved.
