Intro

Imagine taking a group of hot and horny black and Latino men, moving them in together, and watching every second on camera. That's Coco Dorm. New guys are rotated in monthly to have their every action broadcast live on the internet. The guys look pretty young, I'd guess early twenties for most of them, and they're all black or Latino and built. Members can even vote on "Wannabees" who auditioned to join in on the fun.

The Pros

Good-sized collection.

There's a lot to see on Coco Dorm! You'll find nearly 300 galleries and 300 videos in this collection. That's in addition to all the cams and additional content they provide. There's plenty to keep members busy here.

Lots of cam time.

There are five cams constantly recording on the site. These can be viewed in your browser or in an external player. There are also scheduled shows where you can be assured of some live action. The streams are recorded, so don't worry about missing anything.

Some high quality scenes.

Many of the newer videos offer a high definition download option. These scenes play at 5000k and are 1280x720 in size. They're quite sharp and really good-looking, particularly considering this is a cam/amateur site.

Other Good Stuff:

Multiple video viewing options. Most scenes offer Windows Media and Quicktime with two quality settings each.
Updates come daily. They add a new recorded cam stream to the site every day.
Blogs, confessions, and a forum round out the site nicely and give it some personality.

The Cons

Navigation could be better.

I'll admit I was lost when I first got into the member's area. Things are somewhat labeled, but nothing is really clear. Not everything is cross-linked. There aren't enough tools for finding what you're looking for in this large site.

Small photos.

The pictures are much too small. The best you'll get is 750x500. Older scenes are even worse, at 450x300. The quality of the photos isn't great either. Generally there are lighting issues and just a generally very amateur feel to the scenes. The photos need an upgrade all around.

Not sure how much cam action there is.

Well, here I am on Friday night hoping for some action and on all of the cams I can only find 1 guy and he's asleep. I know things aren't going to be happening all the time, but it seems like there should be something going on.

Minor Negatives:

Expensive. Membership is $35 a month. This is a unique collection, but that's still a lot to pay each month.
Cam quality isn't great. I know they're webcams but still. The cam windows are small, they're not very sharp images, and they're frequently in black and white since there's a lot of night vision.
Slow downloads. With download manager restrictions and slow speeds in general, it took quite a while to download some of these scenes.

Bottom Line

Room for a few upgrades but overall a unique and entertaining site.

Coco Dorm is a very unique site that those interested in live gay cam sites will want to check out. There's a lot to enjoy here, which is a good thing because the price isn't cheap. There's room for a few improvements, particularly to the user-friendliness of the site, but all in all it's an entertaining site that is definitely worth a look.
