Intro

CJ XXX is the main Network for a handful of exciting gay sites. A few of these sites we've already had the pleasure to review: Defiant Boyz, Gay Asian Twinkz, Laughing Asians, Spunk Starz, and more. In total there are more than 2,220 videos throughout the Network and 753 image galleries. There is a main Network hub, however, all sites open in a separate window. It would have been nice to have had a more cohesive settup for the Network member's area, but entertaining content and close to daily updates between the sites helps bring value to the $29.95 monthly membership.

The Pros

Original Amateur Gay Content.

As far as I can tell, most everything on these site is original and exclusive. The young amateurs are photographed and taped doing all sorts of naughty things. You'll find solo masturbation scenes, guy-guy anal and blowjobs, along with orgies and multi-guy blowjobs. You'll even find 2 boys having sex in a car, in a church parking lot - naughty! There's also some variety with the men although most are young twinks and a few studs. Probably the most original site is Laughing Asians, which features Asian boys being tickled and masturbated.

Multiple Site Access.

The CJ XXX Network is a collection of about 6 gay sites. Between these sites users get access to more than 2,200 videos and 753 image galleries, plus plenty of extras. Now that's just a lot of content!

Updates Often.

Between the 6 sites users can expect daily updates, sometimes multiple daily updates. Date stamps on all of the content confirm the consistency and reliability of this. All new content is posted right on the member's homepage so it's easy to see exactly what's new and jump right to it.

Other Good Stuff:

Additional entertaining content includes a nice sized collection of model interviews & cumshot videos, plus more depending on the site.
WMV streams available & zip files for the image sets.

The Cons

Slow Download Speeds.

Downloading the video at all of the CJ XXX sites was an awefull pain in the ass for me. I wasn't able to reach speeds above 60KB/second the first visit and 150KB/second the next day. Needless to say it took almost between 10 and 40 minutes to download anything.

Quality Needs Improvement.

Streaming bitrates are stuck around 400k. Obviously they don't look so hot. The higher quality WMV option for the newest videos goes up to 1500k (640x480) and are average at best, nearing on below average considering many sites are offering HD quality these days.

Minimal Browse Features & No Model Index.

There aren't enough ways to browse the Network as a whole, or even the individual sites. The videos are posted in the order they were added and that is it. There is no main Network hub linking all sites within the same window, no search box, no categories, no model index, no way to view other scenes in the same series, nothing. None of the scene names or actor names are cross-linked to find their other scenes, so you're simply left to sift through all sites and scenes to find what you're looking for.

Minor Negatives:

No model bio information is offered and often times only short content descriptions are given, or even none at all.

Bottom Line

Some good niche specific themed sites here, but too many issues still.

As a whole CJ XXX is a decent Network for original gay content offering varying niche themed sites. The content appears to be exclusive, but in general they just keep adding more and more of it to keep users interested and content counts growing. The daily download limit and slow download speeds is a huge concern, and I would have preferred a more cohesive Network member's area with model indexes, categories, and other browse tools. Quality is another area that could use some improvement across the board. The Network is worth a look, but for me there are still too many issues to be worked out to suggest a join.
