With a title like Cherry Puff I had no idea what to expect from this site. As it turns out it's a movie site will full-length DVD titles available for viewing through online streams. Their taglines are "All You Can Watch", "No per Minute Charges", and "No per Movie Charges". Those are accurate so lets see what the other details show.
The Goods:
- 100s of Vids, Some 80s/90s Titles. The content here is made up completely of full-movie titles with some familiar modern titles as well as some more classic ones as well. There's not really any way to filter out by date but I ran into a handful of vids from the 80's and 90's which caught my eye. Some people might like those for a change of pace.
- Informative Guest Tour. The guest tour is set up in the format that I prefer. That is to say guests can browse the site exactly as member see it so before signing up you can tell what they have available. What you see is what you get.
- Low Monthly Price. This is clearly one of their main selling points. AT $9.95/mo the price is about the lowest you're going to see from a porn site.
The Bads:
- Real Video Format, Low Quality Streams. This negative is definitely has to be first on the list. When it comes to movie sites the key things surfers (and reviewers) want to see is high quality downloadable movies in user-friendly format. Cherry Puff gives members no options other than low and lower quality Real player in-browser streams. That doesn't cut it.
- Many Small Niche Categories. In browsing the different categories I believe the Watersports niche had the most videos. That makes no sense. Asian, cumshot, and other popular sections have only a few movies available. It seems like they're adding movies to the wrong sections if they want to appeal to a general audience.
- No Dates or Update Info Provided. The closest thing these guys get to update info is a New Arrivals page. There are no specific dates there or on any of the movies so it's pretty useless.
- Few Search/Browse Tools. The niche categories are the only browsing tool. They do list stars for each movie but they're not clickable nor are there ways to browse by studio, year, or anything else. Pretty much any additional feature would be a plus.
Conclusion:
As a movie site Cherry Puff falls into the category of you get what you pay for. Most of the negatives could be overcome by a low price and having a decent collection of movies but not the poor format choices. That's the key to any movie site and the options here won't appeal to the vast majority of surfers.

Cherry Puff has made some adjustments in terms of adding an additional video format. The in-browser Real Player format remains with the additional format of downloadable AVI files. This is a key improvement since having some form of downloadable vids is so vital nowadays. The AVI movies are full-movie files that save relatively quickly considering they are the entire movie and not just one scene (this is on my high speed cable connection). The quality is average and obviously there is still more room for additional choices. No update info is provided as was the case during our initial review. Many of the popular niches are still undersized according to my expectations. So Cherry Puff remains an inexpensive source of several hundred DVDs.
Score increased from 71.0 to 74.0.
