If you've got a hankering for some girls right off the mean streets of Baltimore, I've got a site for you right here. Charm City Sluts has those girls in unscripted amateur videos, ready to go. The site is pretty plain/simple in the tour with a gray background and white text, and not much in the way of fancy graphics. They give a few previews of the content, which looks like most any hardcore content out there these days. $25 will get you in the door, which by my guess is a little on the high side for me right now.
The goods:
- Exclusive content. Keeping it real in Baltimore requires them to shoot their own content, so they do. With the type of site this is, you kind of expect the content to be exclusive, but it doesn't hurt to mention it still.
- Not too small of a site. There are over 75 exclusive videos, which isn't huge by any means, but it's better than having less than 20 I guess. There's not much more to say here, except that I was stretching a bit to find some uniquely positive things to say here.
The bads:
- Quality could be better. When you describe your videos as "crystal clear," I was expecting much more than the 320x240 and 700kbps videos that popped up. I'd hardly call those high-quality, and definitely not crystal-clear. Video quality needs much improvement here to keep up with the times. A bump to 640x480 and 1000kbps would put them back into the normal category, and they'd need even higher to stand out at all.
- Navigation needs work too. They date their content now which is cool, but I was surprised to see that you have to jump to the last page (at the bottom no less) to see the newest updates. Why not put them right up front so people can be enticed by them? There's no model index, no search features, etc.
- Plain site overall. The member's area looks almost identical to the tour, which means it's pretty plain inside as well. Besides the lack of browse features I mentioned previously, the lack of any real design hurts a little as well. It also trickles down into not offering any model bios or scene info, and other little extras like that.
Conclusion:
Charm City Sluts is just an okay site in the end. The exclusive content, and (mostly) regular updates help them. However, there's really nothing that sets them apart at all. The site is pretty plain, the quality needs work, and they don't offer any extras whatsoever (save for an iPod version of the videos). I'd like more info, much better quality, more extras, and just more time to mature overall on this one.
