Intro

Chaos Men is a very well established gay hardcore site that has been around for years. What they have available is a sizable collectoin of hardcore and solo guy video scenes and photo galleries. The guest tour side of things is quite informative as the layout there is nearly the same as the member's area. Browsing the video and photo section will show you precisely what they have available in terms of models, shoots, and types of action.

The Pros

Gay Hardcore & Solo Guy Content, Lots of Videos & Galleries.

Chaos Men does nicely both in terms of having exclusive content and having lots of shoots available. Both the total number of videos and galleries are well into the hundreds which is impressive for a site like this. Overall it's kind of a general gay theme without any one specific focus as they have a nice mix of hardcore and solo action along with all different type of men ranging from muscular to average to lean. Lots of the models are white but there are also nice amounts of asian, black, and latin too.

High-Quality Video Downloads, Nice Formatting/Set-Up.

They've done a nice job in giving members good choice on the videos and consistent options on all their shoots. These include WMV and QT full-scene downloads in three quality levels along with in-browser Silverlight streaming. The top quality on all three is sharp and quite impressive. Download speeds were better than average for me at around 1MB/sec which made saving the ~150-350MB movie files relatively quick.

Updates Several Timer per Week, Date-Stamped Content.

The pace they have going for update is three new video scenes and one new photo shoot per week. I like that balance as most users probably prefer to see more frequent updates to the videos than the photos. Content items are date-stamped so the track record is easy to follow and they have consistently been adding new stuff for years.

Other Good Stuff:

Photos are sharp and nice quality at around 1024x683 for the majority of galleries.
Clear file size information is posted for each movie as is the spec details which is helpful info.
Site design is clean and easy to use. Chronological photo and video sections are availabe as are a keyword and advanced search, niche tags, and related scene links.

The Cons

No Photo Gallery Zips, More Average Quality Older Content.

These are a couple items of note about the content options. The older material from years back does have lower quality. On the videos you're looking at specs around 1000k 720x480 and then the pictures can go down to 640x420. The lack of downloadable zip files on the photos galleries was surprising and did jump out as a negative.

Navigation Tools Could be Enhanced, No Model Index.

The keyword search and niche tag filtering a bit underdeveloped and they could use more sophisticated search/filter tools. With this type of original content a model index also would have helped. Individual shoot pages do have links to related content scenes featuring the same models so that's a little along the lines of a model index but a complete one would be a nice tool to have that is currently left out.

Minor Negatives:

In-browser streaming Silverlight software is different from Flash and some users may not have that installed yet. FYI, there is a link about this on their member homepage among their 'Top Tech Issue' items list.
Surfers who are sticklers on HD specs might note that the movies labeled 'HD' here have resolutions at 1024x576 which is short of true high-def.

Chaos Men has exclusive pics/vids of men of all types in hardcore & solo action.

Chaos Men is a solid entry in the gay category with a number of key items working in its favor. The long track record of updates and sizable archive make for a nice foundation. They also do well in having all sorts of guys in a mix of action that features a lot of hardcore. Finally they do well on video formatting and download. The negative items are more things that could be improved upon or the lower quality on the older scenes which is to be expected. They also bill through CCBill with simple monthly recurring and non-recurring choices so that should work well for most users.
