Celebs 13 is up for review today, so get your celebrity sleuth hat on for this one. Unfortunately they lose a little credibility with me right off the bat as they advertise the possibility of Christina Aguilera and Shania Twain sex tapes on their main page, which I highly doubt is true in either case. They also offer over 6,500 pictures of Britney Spears, over 3,000 pics of Angelina Jolie, and a supposed tape of Ashanti masturbating in a car. I think this celebrity site goes more for numbers than for actual confirmed content as most similar sites do, which is definitely fine. They boast over one million photos, and over 10,000 videos too, all for just $30 a month.
The goods:
- Tons of photos up. There are people in here that you just won't find on other celebrity sites, such as a reality show host or similar who doesn't generally have nude content. Celebs 13 will find anything and everything related to most any chick you can think of, and will even find their nipple slips for you if they have them.
- Large daily updates. Well over 20 girls are updated each day with anywhere from 3-100 new pictures on average, which is pretty impressive. I don't know where they keep finding this stuff, but the site isn't slowing down at all it seems.
The bads:
- Plain site overall. There are no graphics, and no real search features here. They give a brief bio on the celebrity, but there's just no extras or info around here really. I'd say the site could use some personality overall, but I guess what they have now works for speed and all.
- Lots of non-nude content. It's hard to call this an adult site at times when you're looking at a magazine photo, or just a random TV appearance where they wore a dress or something. There's also the nude stuff here, but it's hit or miss on who offers it, and a lot of celebs don't here.
- Not as big a focus on videos. Granted there are still a ton of videos up, but they're much harder to find overall than the million plus photos they offer. I guess there's a lot less stuff caught on video compared to photos, which makes sense.
Conclusion:
Celebs 13 at least has a different idea going into the celebrity site genre. It'd be hard to compete if they did the same thing as most everyone else, so instead they go for sheer numbers. With a ton of content up and very large daily updates, they just add anything and everything that someone might want to see. For me that meant wading through a lot of crap that didn't turn me on, but getting lucky once or twice to find a random nipple I may not have seen otherwise. It's not the prettiest site, but they won't leave you empty handed at least.
