Celebrity sites are definitely a unique type of adult paysite. Most have a wide array of content from sources like movies, TV, appearances, magazines, paparazzi, etc and Celebs 13 fits that concept. The guest tour here has a splash page with lots of written information and it's tough to get a read on what the member's area feels like. The best info for non-members is a long list of the included celebs but for a site like this a review can really come in handy.
The Goods:
- Tons of Celebs, Large Content Collection. This is the #1 thing that Celebs 13 has to offer and it is the foundation of the site. The picture galleries make up the majority of the content but there are thousands of video clips as well. The celebrity list is about as large as I can remember seeing on a celebrity site. They had everyone that I searched for and the list is of names is enormous. The content features nude, semi-nude, and non-nude stuff and comes from all sorts of sources.
- Many Celebs w/ High-Res Pics Available. Content quality is always an issue for celebrity content. For each model Celebs 13 actually has the galleries broken down by resolution and a good chunk of the celebs have high-resolution pictures. Actually the quality of some of the pictures is very impressive. The bigger name stars seem more likely to have more of these type of pictures.
- Solid Pic Browsing & Model Pic Breakdown. Considering the number of celebs and the amount of pic galleries they have set up a straightforward navigation system. Models can be found alphabetically or by keyword search. Specifically the individual model pages have nice sub-categorization of the pics by Resolution, Skin Type (nude or non-nude), Source (movie, paparazzi, magazine, etc), and Extra Categories. Generally celeb sites don't have detailed organization like this so it's good to see especially the picture resolution breakdown.
- Lots of Daily Picture & Video Updates. The updates are real strength since they add lots and lots of picture galleries each day. There is a log outlining these plus the have "new" tags next to model names with newer stuff. A number of video clips are also posted each day so overall the speed of the updates goes hand-in-hand with the site's strong quantity.
The Bads:
- Video Browsing Could Be Improved. Besides the video clip part of the site being secondary to the pictures the movies are housed on separate pages from the pictures and main model index. The vids are listed by celeb first name and by movie title. For some reason they movies aren't included on the model information pages along with their picture galleries which doesn't make sense to me.
- Includes Standard Celeb & Non-Nude Content. These are a couple items that kind of go with the territory of being a celebrity site. Many competing celeb niche sites have some of the same material available. Also, as is typical Celeb 13 has a mix of nude and non-nude content. So a lot of the material in the collection isn't naked celebs and often it depends of the individual celeb as to whether she has any naked content to draw upon.
- Content Quality Does Vary. While there are high-resolution pics available there is also a lot of average pictures included as well. This type of content comes from such a wide number of sources that you really are going to get a mixed bag in terms of quality. For example some pictures are actually video caps which can be unimpressive.
Conclusion:
When it comes to amount of celebrities and having high-resolution pictures Celebs 13 has more value than many other sites in the celebrity niche. While the design isn't polished it is functional for accessing the picture content. The video part of the site is secondary plus there is a drop off in navigation on that section. So overall the site surpassed the expectations I had going in for the pictures but was pretty standard when it came to movie content.
