We've got a celeb site up for review today called Celebrities on Net. From the get go, celebrity sites have some very stiff competition just based on the genre they're working with. First off, there's no real exclusive content here; you can expand that to show that quality is out of their hands usually as well. Once in a great while sites will rip their own material, but mostly it comes down to the site, price, and collection. Celebrities on Net is now $20 a month, thanks to a special bargain they hooked up for you.
The goods:
- Lots of content up. It's tough to get a full, accurate count here, but with 101 pages of 28 celebs each just for pictures, there's definitely a good amount to see here.
- Updates come pretty regularly. Though they only come every three days and can be pretty small, they do come on schedule usually which should help the site continue to grow (albeit slowly).
The bads:
- Updates can be quite small it seems. It's tough to tell exactly how big they are, but it seems like some of the updates are just a few extra non-nude pictures which is very small for an actual update.
- Lots of non-nude pics, and some fakes. The fakes you can usually spot, and at least there's some nudity available, but there are so many non-nude pictures that it gets old after a while. You can find most of this site on any number of fan sites the celeb may have, which doesn't make it a very worthwhile join.
- Navigation is a bit too simple. You can basically browse by update date, or by celeb in alphabetical order and that's it. There's no real extra info, and no other ways to browse (save for their text search box). As I mentioned earlier, how they present everything is a bigger deal on a celebrity site.
- Missing some scenes from pretty big stars. I have a few favorites I like to check out now and again, and when they're missing (from bigger movies), it sends up a red flag for me. Unfortunately that was the case here on a couple occasions.
- Lots of pictures have other URL's branded on them. I'm sure they aren't advertising these other sites out of the goodness of their hearts, so I assume they might just find images on the net and throw them up in their own member's area. Usually this is a huge no-no due to copyright issues, but with celebrity sites being so murky in that area, who knows what the deal is exactly.
Conclusion:
Unfortunately I just don't feel Celebrities on Net stacks up against other celeb sites out there right now. There's too much going wrong here that makes me want to stay away that I couldn't imagine this being your sole source for celebrity content unfortunately.

There have been some decent changes here to Celebrities on Net since the last time we were here, mostly in the form of navigation. They have an advanced search going on now which really lets you find some specific content a lot easier. They also give a lot more info about the girls, content, etc. in the form of bios, type of nudity (or non-nudity still), and more. The basics remain the same with the $20 price tag, three updates per week, and a very mixed bag of celebrity content. With the navigation woes out of the way, I'd really like to see their content upgraded with all available celeb material, plus perhaps less fakes and non-nudes overall. Still, it's a good bit better than last time we were here :)
Score increased from 71.1 to 73.5.
