"Catalina has a professional official site with a well balanced content collection."
Once again I come across an official site of an XXX performer that I'm unfamiliar with. As a reviewer that's actually an okay thing since I can simply take a look at the site and rate from the perspective of someone going in blind. As the tour mentions the member's content here goes beyond just Catalina and includes additional material of lots of other pornstars or "fantasy girls" as they're called.

The Goods:

- Well Balanced Content Collection. Catalina offers up a nice mix of pictures, videos, cam shows (with archives), published work, and other models. Her pictures and videos covered the areas I expected like solo studio style shoots, boy/girl hardcore and girl/girl hardcore. The other models, of which there are a lot, add more hardcore galleries and videos to the site.

- Categorized Picture & Video Sections. Each of Catalina's photo and video sections are broken into sub sections like solo, boy/girl, and girl/girl. Many solo star sites with similar amounts of material don't go through the effort of categorizing so this breakdown is a good thing.

- Interacts With Cam Shows & Blog. The blog has pretty lengthy entries and can be found right on the guest tour. The cam shows in the member's area includes archives and based on those it seems she's doing about 3 per month. The action in the shows regularly includes boy/girl and girl/girl banging.

The Bads:

- Video Viewing Could be Improved. My main issue here is that the vids first stream in-browser in a new browser window and only from there are links offered to download the file to your computer or view in a stand alone media player. The cam show archives only play in-browser and can't be downloaded at all. So there are a few rough edges with the vid formatting that could be smoothed over.

- Little Behind-the-Scenes Stuff. This came to my attention because a photo gallery section called "candid pics" is in the member's area. Unfortunately there's just 1 gallery in there which is disappointing. Considering how many of her shoots are professional style studio shoots it'd be great if this was expanded with some real-life galleries and videos. In my opinion that's the type of stuff that can add real value to an official site.

Conclusion:

From the guest tour through the member's area this is a sharp looking professional site. It's tough to know what to expect from official sites for pro girls but Catalina's should meet most fan's expectations. Updates are made several times per week although percent of them relate to the bonus friends galleries.

1st Follow-Up Review Review: 03-20-08

Catalina already had a respectable and well balanced content collection when TBP did our initial review and taking another look she has expanded on that base. The number of photo galleries as well as videos are both well into the hundreds which is excellent for an official pornstar site. The video quality also has been bumped up a bit with sharper movies on the newer additions. I'm still not crazy about the stream-first then download viewing set-up although I appreciate the increased quality. Cam shows continue regularly with streaming archives found right on the site. The blog remains up to date and she has grown the "candid" section to include almost 10 galleries and half a dozen videos.

Score increased from 80.0 to 81.0.
