Cams at Home has as collection of live webcam shows on a pay-per-minute basis. The overall setup and concept is in-line with what cam site typically offer. There are a lot of solo girl performers along with some other specialties like fetish, couples, shemales, etc. Guests can browse the site sections to see who is online and offline so it's possible to get an idea what they have before creating an account.
The Goods:
- Easy to Use Interface w/ Sound. Since I'm not all that technically savvy my approach to inspecting the cam interface is pretty simple. I want it to be easy to use which is the case on Cams at Home. When you click on most girls the group chat with sound opens and from there it's possible to go private.
- Free Non-Private Group Chat. Most of the group chats I entered had a number of other members chatting with the model. There seemed to be a decent amount of back and forth as the girls worked to get a private chat going.
- Quite a Number of Languages. A list of ten languages is posted at the top of the Online Girls areas. As expected most of the girls speak English along with a number of Spanish, French, and others. There seemed to be at least a couple for the majority of languages available.
The Bads:
- Basic & Choppy Site Design. The design graphics, text, and smoothness could use some polishing up. From what I can tell this is a decent sized site from an established company so it'd be nice if they gave it a sharper appearance.
- Not a Huge # of Models Online. The number of models online seems to hover between about 60-100 at any one time. That's kind of middle of the road for live cam show sites. There are a bunch that have a smaller number but this doesn’t come close to the hundreds or thousands available at the huge cam sites.
- Expensive Private Shows. Pay-per-minute is expensive regardless of the exact per minute rate but $4.99 is near the high of rates that I've seen. The cost will add up fast at that rate.
Conclusion:
All-in-all Cams at Home is a decent cam site with all the basics in place. At the same time they don't seem to have the big hook that would separate them from the crowd in terms of number of girls, different niches, price, etc. As far as entertainment goes it's very subjective since it depends on the individual model and your interaction with her.
