PROS:

1. Hundreds of hardcore amateur vids.

2. Most vids have full-movie files & clips.

"Lots of videos of real looking people in hardcore action but the site design could be improved."
Camcorder XXX has video episodes of amateur sex. It's pretty straightforward and is part of the small XXX Home Video Network of sites. Something I always look at for these amateur style sites is what the performers look like. Here they definitely are average looking couples and not recognizable porn chicks pretending to be amateurs. One-on-one boy/girl sex makes up the vast majority of the action (I ran into one group scene).

The Goods:

- Hundreds of Hardcore Amateur Videos. It's good that they forego picture galleries since those aren't needed on a site like this. The number of videos in the collection is in the hundreds so it's a nice sized site.

- Most Vids Have Full-Movie Files & Clips. Except for the very oldest videos the movies are available with full-movie files and clips. The full files are WMV and then the clips have WMV, MPEG, and Real (on the older files).

- Bonus Sites Have Similar Style Movies. While it's not a big network the XXX Home Video sites do offer similar style amateur movies from this company. They should be of interest to members who like what's on Camcorder XXX.

The Bads:

- Average Video Quality. Consistently higher quality videos would make this collection more enjoyable. This goes for both the WMV and MPEG files.

- Navigation/Organization Could Be Cleaner. The content is broken up into separate "New Archives" and "Old Archives" sections. Apparently they changed their layout in mid-2006 and didn't upgrade the old sections to match the new design. Also, with so many movies it'd be nice if they had some niche categories available to find the type of performers or action desired.

- Price is a Little High. The monthly rate here is on the mid-high end of paysites. Taking everything into account I'd like to see it maybe five bucks cheaper.

Conclusion:

The episodes are dated and they seem to update with one new movie per week. That's okay for a site like this so it's not a big positive or a negative. I never really know what to expect from sites in the "amateur" niche so Camcorder XXX's "real" looking performers was something that impressed me.
