CamContacts is a live webcam site that allows users from around the world to talk dirty to each other. Ok, it does more than that. We're talking cybersex, baby! You can sit in your skivvies in your living room in Ohio and watch a sexy 18 year old strip and tease you all the way from Miami, and she's doing it just for you. That's the beauty of the webcam, live personal entertainment. CamContacts is free to register so it's worth it just to check out the offerings.
I counted approximately 700 cams currently broadcasting with 37,000 offline. While that may be a small percentage, 700 cams gives you quite a good sized sample to begin with. The broadcasters are organized into categories with the three segments of Girls Home Alone (A Little Shy, Not So Shy, and Instant Action) having the highest number of performers. Fetish, Dungeon, and Couples also have a decent number of exhibitors online. The site isn't quite as big as IFriends, but I think it may be our second largest cam site.
There aren't a ton of browse features, unfortunently. It looks like you can browse by category or type in a chathost's screenname and that's about it. Each host has a profile page with information on their physical features and what you can expect in a typical show. Most also have a snapshot archive of camgrabs so you can get an idea of what their shows look like. The site set-up is clean and very straightforward, but more navigation features would be appreciated.
Once you've found someone who interests you, you have the options of textchat and videochat. It's free to chat but the only visual you'll get is their profile pic in the upper lefthand corner. Other members may be in the chatroom with you as the sexy performer tries to seduce one or all of you to a videochat, where the action really is. There are two options for videochat. You can do a group show for around $2 a minute or a private show with just you and the host for around $2.50 a minute (the camhost gets 50%, fyi). It's not cheap but camsites never are. In all honesty, these prices are very reasonable compared to other sites charging upwards of $4 a minute. For completely personal entertainment, that might be a very good value for some.
Viewing the video is also quite simple. Click the "Begin Videochat" button and you're good to go. The site even tests to be sure the performer's webcam is working before you begin paying. The page loads with the chat window on the right and the webcam on the left. You don't need to download anything unless you want to also broadcast your own cam to the host, then it gets a bit more complicated. Video quality was pretty average. Some of the cams looked clearer than others but that just depends on the performer. If you've spent much time viewing webcams, you know what to expect.
CamContacts can definitely compete with the best of the other camsites. The site's two biggest strenths are its large number of broadcasters and relatively reasonable price. The site's weakness is its lack of interesting user options and navigation features. Though camsites are much more expensive than your typical paysite, for such personalized entertainment the attraction is high. CamContacts can hold its own and is a good option for anyone seeking live cam action.

It's been a year since our initial review of Cam Contacts and they've still got thousands of girls waiting around the clock to join you in a private tryst. A quick count reveals around 700 adult cams currently online, much like at our last visit. That's plenty of babes to keep you busy. Prices look about the same as they did before, as well. Actually I don't think a whole lot has changed since our previous visit. Having looked at a few more camsites in the last year, I definitely appreciate how many girls Cam Contacts has online and their relatively low price. I'm adjusting a few scores but the total remains the same. I'd love a few more bells and whistles but Cam Contacts is plenty strong as is.
