Broke Straight Boys has original episodes of hardcore guy/guy shoots. As can be seen on the TBP site facts the number of galleries and videos are equal since these guys organize their content in terms of "shoots". Each shoot has a lengthy write-up description of the shoot along with full-movie files, movie clips, and accompanying photo galleries. The whole "straight guys doing gay porn" seems to be a pretty popular sub-niche among gay sites and the concept here fits into that genre.

The Goods:

- Exclusive Hardcore Guy/Guy Shoots. Most of the episodes are one-on-one although occasional movies mix in some solo and group sex action. The write ups for episodes are a nice touch that adds something little to the content.

- Many Video Download Options. The top quality videos look good although not exceptional but it's in the variety of options that this site shines. For both full-movie files and clips there WMV, QT, and Real format in the following quality levels: 1MB, 512k, 256k, and 112k. Rarely do I se many formats and quality levels on a single site.

- Bonus Site Access. The few sites in the Bonus Boy Sites network gives members additional content which helps since this isn't a very large site.

The Bads:

- Minimal Update Info/History. The update info is limited and the episodes in the main content section aren't dated so it's tough to get a read on how consistent updates come. A note says weekly which would be typical for a site like this with original shoots.

- Avg Quantity for the Price. Growth is one of the things I'll be looking for when we get back here for a follow-up review. The $29.96/mo price is on the mid-high end of paysites which seems expensive considering the amount of content.

Conclusion:

The sample pics and videos on the tour are a good example of what the member's area shoots are like. The one thing that's really weird is that there are several trial options along with a monthly join option. We can only list one trial in our TBP site facts so just be aware that those are there. In addition to the continued updates/growth I'll be interest to see if they ratchet up their highest video quality level in the future. They have a ton of format options so a hi-res choice would seem like the next logical step.

Broke Straight Boys has continued to grow the number of episodes bringing the total number to over 100 (as of Sept '07). They also have added much more update information by dating all the episodes which helps a lot. The track record shows that they put two new episodes online each week which is a fine pace considering they have original shoots. The movies continue to be a mix of guy/guy hardcore and solo performances. It's still a solid and growing site with gay movies and numerous video options. The only negative I can point to on the video options is that the quality is only average. If they would bump that up it would make things more entertaining for members.

Score increased from 76.5 to 79.0.
