Now here's a name even I know. I'm not much into the pornstar thing, so usually these names fly right by me when we do a supposed pornstar's website. Today though, we're looking at the official site of Briana Banks, who I most definitely know of, and most likely would have all kinds of dirty sex with if given the go ahead. Her site is now part of a network that includes quite a few other mega-stars similar to herself, including Club Jenna (Jameson), Jill Kelly, Krystal Steal, and more. We even got a special price of $20 a month for you instead of the usual $30 a month, which is a great way to start the review off.
The goods:
- Some okay content up. I guess at least there's some content available here of Briana herself. There's a little hardcore, softcore, and everyday stuff mixed in there to check out.
- Network access included. Quite a few other similar sites are included from other pornstars to keep you busy in between her actual updates.
- Nice discount. Saving $10 a month is never a bad thing, and $20 makes much more sense than $30 a month would for this site (unfortunately).
The bads:
- Navigation is pretty confusing. They have basically three columns setup on the main page that just doesn't make sense to me. They re-draw the whole page when you click a link anyway (without the three columns), so it's just a weird layout to have on the main page.
- Updates are mostly bonus content. Updates come often, but more often than not, it's just a "friend gallery" or similar. Briana's actual updates are much slower, sometimes spanning a few weeks in between them.
- Quality isn't great. The pictures are small, and the videos are small and grainy as well. I really was hoping for better here on her official site.
- Videos play in-browser only. I can sometimes understand with these huge mega-stars about not wanting a downloadable repository of all their content, but that's not the case here at all. There are very few videos up, the quality is bad, so I think they should at least be downloadable.
Conclusion:
Unfortunately, more often than not, these official sites are not too good. That's the case here today with Briana Banks' site I'd say. It's just very unimpressive to have this as her official representation on the web since she's such an impressive star. I was expecting a ton more content, regular updates, great quality, etc. Instead, we're left with a site that's okay at best with nothing that impressed me in the end.
