The official site for Bree Olsen is up for review today, and I'm probably one of the worst people around to tell you about who she is. She must be pretty big in the industry, as I know her by name, but I have no clue what she's done. It looks like she's a hot blonde pornstar, aged 21, is 5'3" and of Ukranian heritage. She's been in Penthouse in addition to the 49 DVD's that are linked for sale from her site. Her site features both solo and hardcore content, and it's advertised as all exclusive material. $30 a month gets in, which is a bit high, but what I was expecting.
The goods:
- Good interaction for a pornstar. I guess maybe she is a little more up and coming (and cumming), but she seems like she offers more insight into her life than most girls in her position. She answers all fanmail through the website and post office, has a blog, does camshows, and more. It sounds like she really works on her site a lot, which is rare for this type of site.
- Advertises exclusive content. I can't be 100% sure it's all exclusive, especially since the video scenes look like professional video shoots and all, but who knows. If it is all exclusive, once she has up a larger collection, it'll be quite a unique collection since you haven't seen any of it before.
- Updates come weekly. She adds either a photoset, or both a photoset and video every week, which should help the site continue to grow. It's not huge yet, so any growth is helpful.
The bads:
- Could use some growth. It's not a very large site yet, perhaps because it's newer. Also, if it's all exclusive, that could explain it as well. She must be busy doing other stuff, so shooting content for this site gets squeezed in between that. Hopefully the weekly updates continue, which will help it grow.
- Quality could be better. The pictures look great here, but the videos get compressed down a bit too much. The are shot well, with good lighting, locations, and performers, but the bitrate and size need to be bumped up - especially for a girl this hot.
- Blog could be more active. I like how personal it is, as I mentioned earlier, but I think there could be posts more often. The last one was over a month ago, which is just a little too long for me.
Conclusion:
Bree Olsen has a great start to the site here. She has one of the better pornstar sites going, and if she sticks with it, should really get her name out there even more with this. The interaction is great, and I hope at a minimum it can maintain, if not to grow in the future. Video quality could be better, but that's another easy fix going forward. Some growth would help too, but time should take care of that. The basics are all good, and we just need more all around!
