Intro

Breaking Into Porn is a site brought to you by Jack Lawrence, a Porn Star, Producer and "7 time Adult Video News Award Nominee" who created this site to "give you ever secret on breaking into porn & becoming a skilled, successful performer." So this is a different adult site of sorts. The content includes interviews, instructional videos and promises to be "informative, honest" and real. A membership here will set you back about $40 bucks which gives you access to the site and its content for 6 months. Inside there are 4 DVD's to get your porn star skills up to par and ready to get in the action.


The Pros

  Unique Content.

Although not your typical porn site, I suppose Breaking Into Porn would be a fun join for anyone who's got a fantasy to star in porn, or are simply interested in learning more about the behind the scenes action and what it takes to be a porno star. The 4 DVD's offered here feature interviews, discussions, tips, instructionals, do's and don'ts, bonus material and more. This really is a unique look into the world of porn presented by a true and accomplished insider.

  4 Stream Formats Offered.

Each DVD is offered in 4 streaming formats including 2 different quality WMV options, QuickTime and MPG. Each DVD is broken down into chapters and are easy to click and play.

Other Good Stuff:

  • The highest quality stream option delivers an okay looking picture quality and sound. It's not the HD quality we're used to seeing these days, but they look good.
  • A 1-time join gives access to the sites content for 6 months including access to the members forum, Jack Lawrence's filmography, etc.

The Cons

  Content is Stream-Only.

There are no downloads here and so nothing is yours to keep. If you're really interested in viewing & keeping this content considering buying the DVD set at the same price.

  Not Much Content Here.

Other than the 4 DVD's offered here that's about all you get. No new content will ever be updated & just a few actual sex scenes to jerk off to as well as some instructional scenes. There are no accompanying images or other porno content.

Minor Negatives:

  • Quality could be better. For a site offering 4 simple DVD's and that's it without even the option for downloads, high-res videos or even HD should be standard. The MOV files appear to be your highest quality option. They take a while to load and look nice, but not full-screen nice.

Bottom Line

Interesting instructional DVD's but more of a novelty than actual porno.

Breaking Into Porn is a simple novelty site, one for anyone interested in learning more about the industry, what it takes and what it's like to be a porn star, instructional anal videos, behind the scenes and more. My problem with the site is that the videos are stream-only. Why not offer downloads? I would have liked to have had even higher quality streams being offered at the very least. For the same price you can purchase the DVD's and watch them on your TV, so I guess if you're in the market for something like this it's up to you on how you'd prefer to be schooled on Breaking Into Porn.
