Bound N Determined is the fetish website of "experienced bondager and suspension artist, Lew Rubens." Lew certainly knows his way around a rope. The elaborate and intricate ties that bind these women are amazing. They're hogtied, they're suspended as pretzels, they're bent over backwards with their breasts tightly bound and a ballgag between their lips. I think one of the most fascinating scenes on the site is Hydrophobia which features a woman suspended over a swimming pool head down with her arms bound and then dunked repeatedly. The loss of control is very frightening. While there is a lot of nudity on the site there isn't much, if any, sex. Bound N Determined is all about the ropes.
Upon entering the member's area you'll find links to their latest updates which seem to come slightly more often than once a week on average. I was pleased to find a couple different browse options, such as the ability to sort by model and type of bondage, as well as a chronological listing. The design isn't much to look at, but at least the set-up is functional.
There are currently 183 galleries dating from 2002 to the present. 22 models are featured in approximately 6,000 photos. That's not a large collection but much of it is original material. You can tell the original stuff easily since you'll often spot Lew tying up his subject. Other galleries are clearly stamped as being licensed to Bound n Determined. Quality varies quite a bit. Some of the images are as small as 400x600 while others go up to 768x1024. Most look amateur in style but some look like they were shot by a professional. It would be nice to see a little more consistancy, as well as the separation of exclusive and licensed content.
The video section contains 5 movies split into dozens of clips. The total length for each movie is around 30 minutes. The older clips play in Real Player at around 200k while the newest clips play in Windows Media at your choice of around 700k and 350k. I don't need to tell you that it's the newest clips that entertained me most. The older ones are a bit too grainy. The new ones still look raw and have an amateur quality to them, but at least the video is clearer.
Bound N Determined has so much intriguing original fetish content that I feel isn't quite living up to its potential. Larger, more consistantly high quality images are badly needed. Let's see every goosebump, every drop of sweat, as these women are bound! I think Lew's creativity in rope work is a great asset to the site and with a few small changes the site could earn a much higher score. $20 is a very fair price, at least, and certainly makes it worth a look for all fans of bdsm.
