Bootylicious Mag is up for review today, which is a magazine brought to from the Score people who also have the Naughty Mag, 40 Something Mag, 18 Eighteen, etc. Here we focus on big booties and big butts, generally from black girls in the tour, but the member's area has all ethnicities inside. The site has been going strong since December, 2005, so there should be a lot to see. The $20 price tag is nice to see, as these magazine sites can get a bit expensive sometimes.
The goods:
- Pictures look good. I'd say their picture quality has come a long way in the last couple years. They've always had large photos, which is still true today (1600x1000 or so), but now they just look much better. They used to look scanned, while now the quality is pure digital to my eyes.
- A few different video options. Videos can be viewed right on the page in their Flash player (which has two quality options), or downloaded in WMV or MP4 format as well. I think the older options weren't nearly as good.
- Updates come often. Something new is put up every week at worst, and sometimes as often as every day. It varies, and I'm not sure what the schedule is, but the site is growing at least.
The bads:
- I wish it were larger. For being around so long, I really thought they'd have more material here. The updates are coming often, but that could be a recent thing. There are a couple hundred picture galleries, which is decent, but the video count is under 75 for now.
- Site design is a bit dated. It's not quite a plain design, since there's something going on, but it looks like one they did a few years ago. A fresh look would do wonders for them I think.
- A search feature wouldn't be a bad idea. As the site grows, finding content is going to get more difficult. I'd love a way to find specific types of girls or scenes a little easier here, since they offer a wide variety of content. All the asses are big though at least!
Conclusion:
Bootylicious Mag is hit or miss a bit it seems, but it's not bad overall. The content looks good, they update often, it's all exclusive, and they have a nice little (large?) niche going on. The site is a bit plain overall, and could use a new design and more features. Some growth wouldn't hurt them either, but hopefully that comes in time.
