Bonus Boy Sites is a network of a handful of video sites all featuring young, gay men in hardcore action. Their specialty is straight boys having gay sex for the first time and otherwise just being naughty. Sometimes they jerk off, sometimes they’re so desperate for money they get it on with their friends. The emphasis here is on video and there’s a reality/amateur spin to the scenes.
The Goods –
The material on two of the sites is exclusive. Both Broke Straight Boys and Straight Boys Jerk Off advertise having 100% original content. That works out to a lot of new material starring plenty of hot young men I’d never seen before.
They’ve got some nice options for viewing the videos. First off, you’ve got a choice of clips and full-length versions of each video. You also have a choice of Windows Media, Quicktime, and Real Player for both the clips and full scenes. Plus, each format is offered in four quality settings. They really have all their bases covered.
When you combine all the videos from the two exclusive sites, you’ve got a nice sized collection. The total comes to around 120 videos and both sites are updated weekly. Add in their bonus content and you can have a good time for a while.
The Bads –
They say four sites are including but that is somewhat misleading. One of the sites, HS Boys, just features links to other feed sites. This site has no actual content of its own. While we’re on the topic, Amateur Boys First Time also did very little for me. Based on the banner at the top of every page and the link that says “Thanks to Boys First Time For These Movies”, it appears that this isn’t actually their own content but something they’ve gotten in a link swap with another site. That seems more like bonus content to me than content worthy of being called a network site.
There are no network features to help users out. To begin with, you have to enter your username and password too often. You’ll have to enter it to log in to the network and then again whenever you want to visit any of the sites, and again when you play some of the videos. I also like to see lists of updates on a network homepage and there was no info provided here.
Content quality was just so-so. The pictures were small and sometimes just vidcaps. Even the videos labeled “highest quality” didn’t look quite as sharp at their 1000k would suggest them to be. Overall, the material looks fine but certainly very amateur.
Conclusion –
I can’t say I was very impressed with Bonus Boy Sites as a network. Individually, their two actual sites aren’t bad but the package can’t compete with what we usually see on quality networks. The two filler sites were disappointing and made the $30 a month pricetag a little harder to take, even with exclusive content. There’s some fine content here, but overall I wasn’t thrilled with the network as a whole.
