Translated from German into English, Bongum is not a new type of gum; it's a German and European fetish site featuring bondage and rubber fetish fantasies including "intricate ropework" with "tied helpless models strapped down & gagged", as well as "hardcore bondage videos". In case you were wondering, "bondage" together with the German word for "rubber" (gummi) is where they get the name Bongum.com. Updates take place once per week, and there are currently close to 20,000 images and 64+ videos on the site for a low $17.95 (rebills at $15.00/month). A recurring theme I've noticed from a lot of fetish sites happens to be a lack in site design. Bongum.com doesn't necessarily follow suit in this area, though there are a few oddities I noticed as I took the tour through the member's area.
Specializing in bondage and latex wear, the average babes and wild beauties on this site like it a little more on the rough side. When I say average babes and wild beauties it's because there's quite a range in the attractiveness of the girls here as well as the photos. For instance, image galleries are categorized into: fetish galleries (exclusive sets featuring amateurs, bondage, latex, PVC, heels, etc.); dominas (those hardcore chicks who love to control others & play dirty); glamour girls (fetish gone glam featuring some of the webs hottest babes); the bongum girls (in alphabetical order). Generally speaking, you'll find the most attractive yet soft-fetish pictures under the glamour girls section, and the more hardcore, less attractive images under the fetish galleries, with dominas falling somewhere in between. Though it ranges, image size is usually no larger then 800x600 and the quality ranges from very good to average. As far as fetish sites go, this is probably one of the more tame ones in the sense that other then your average bounds and gags, nylons, stockings & heels, smoking, uniforms, rubber, and latex, you're not going to find anything all too crazy here. There's not a ton of hardcore here other then your random cock torture, candle fuck, doctor play...oh and then there's that one "bodybag" set, so I guess there's generally just a mix of things to be found here.
Videos are numbered and listed 20 at a time. There's not much consistency when it comes to viewing them, though, since media formats can be anything from mpg's, wmv's, rm's, etc., and the newest ones appear to mostly use Windows Media Player. Videos are often times broken down into parts, anywhere from 2-18, though there is no option for connection speed. Preview images are made available in order to aid you in your quest for the perfect video but they are merely very small image thumbs. This is where you get to see a little bit more of that hardcore bondage action at play! Videos offer a fair amount of pornstar and professional bondage scenes and most are set up in such a way that they are meant to be downloaded to your computer before viewing them--I don't like this too much. The quality of them is usually no better than average with a few of them not having the greatest sound--at least the action is good!
Bongum.com also offers a complete section of fetish-stories as well as foto-stories, for those of you who enjoy reading your porn with a little visual aid. Other things to be found here include a bunch of screensavers & themes as well as a few games. The site design is okay, maybe slightly restrictive though, and the organization feels somewhat odd in the sense that you're not given the ability to search through different fetishes by themes. The overall quality here is about average, with the images falling slightly above and the videos slightly below. The good news is that updates are consistent, the content count is fairly high, and the price is on the cheaper side of things. If you're looking for a bondage and & fetish site with a general mix of content and a little German flavor, check it out.

It's been about 8 months and though the site is still being loosely translated into English, it looks like Bongum has made great strides toward a better designed member’s area. The content count has also jumped from 20,000 to 30,000+ images and over 114+ videos. I can't say that the quality here has improved all that much and most of the content is still non-exclusive, but there's still a considerable amount of content to be found here and they appear to be getting more and more consistent with them latex, bondage and BDSM themes.
The videos are now located in a different members area (username and password are given once inside) and it looks as though there's more consistency in viewing them as well. They can be streamed or downloaded to your computer using Windows Media Player but are still fairly average when it comes to the quality of them. Overall I like most of the changes made here but the jump in content #'s are what's most impressive. I'd still like to see a few things get cleaned up a bit more as well as high quality content but I like the direction this site is headed.

Follow-up # 2 here at Bongum.com and it looks like content numbers are up higher than ever, with more than 160+ videos and countless numbers of images. It looks to me like some action has been taken to better organize the content on the site. I can tell you for sure that exclusive content is now in its very own category but I still have some issues with how awkward and often times annoying it is to get around here. And when it comes to the quality of content, I'd still like to see them take larger strides in that direction as well. For the price, though, I haven't seen many fetish sites with this much content and dedication. I only hope that they keep improving things here in the future.

Things are still moving along smoothly here at Bongum.com and consistent updates have brought the video count up to 250+. Speaking of which, videos are now listed on a whole new site that is linked from the member's area. Fortunately the quality is looking good, with streams up to 1100k, but the site design and browse options are lacking, for both sites actually. At least the exclusive sections are seeing more growth than ever, and they've even upped the size of their images (1200x800 pixels). I love the strides they've made in the quality department, so next time I really hope they've done a total re-design of the member's area. It's just too difficult to navigate around here, and ends up taking away from the awesome fetish content. For the price, I'd say Bongum.com is worth a look, but it's member's area certainly isn't without flaws.
