Today we're looking at Bondage USA, which is a site from a guy named Chuck Stevens. He's been shooting content for over 20 years, and this is the one place you can go to see all of his work, much of which has never been published. It's a glamour type bondage site, with some sexy poses and lighting focusing on girls that are tied up of course. Membership is quite inexpensive at $13 for the first month, and just $10 a month after that.
The goods:
- Exclusive niche content. You can tell just browsing around a little bit that the content is special here. While it's a bondage site, it's also an artsy site. The girls and settings are beautiful, and the photography is top-notch.
- Great price. Granted, the site is very small, so it makes sense. But if you look at the price specifically, you don't get too much cheaper than this out there.
- Updates come regularly. Every week or so a new gallery is put up, which should help the site grow. I'd wish that they came more often, but I'm grateful that they come regularly.
The bads:
- Not a very large site. Currently there are under 50 galleries on the site total, and no videos whatsoever. Even though it's exclusive content, that's just a very small site in today's world.
- Navigation could be better. The site design isn't very exciting either. You can basically browse the galleries chronologically, or you can view the models. I like the model's index idea, but the thumbnails are so small, and they only put one girl on each line, that it's not as user-friendly as it should be. As the site grows, the current setup will become more difficult.
- Pictures are a bit small at times. For being a photography site, the quality is generally pretty good. However, the pictures aren't nearly as big as I'd like; many of the older ones are in the 800x600 range, which just doesn't cut it.
Conclusion:
The photo galleries here at Bondage USA are both fun and interesting. Chuck Stevens knows his way behind a camera, and how to make these girls look beautiful. The site itself is a bit dated already, with lackluster options and photo sizes that hold the site back; the lack of videos is already harming them enough. They're going to need some major time to grow and mature before they can really compete, but since the content is good, they should do well in the long term.
