Blacks on Blondes isn't the prettiest site I've ever seen. It's one of those raw text-only member's areas that's about as simple as they come. Really they give you two worthwhile choices; you can either look at their pictures or their videos. Other than that there's five submitted photo galleries and then just a handful of links to stories, personals, and webcam shows. Oh yeah, and they also have a form for members to submit love or hate mail. Usually webmasters are overly sensitive and get easily offended if anyone criticizes their site in any way, so I give these guys credit for stepping up and inviting hate mail along with the positive feedback.
The design cause some problems when navigating the content, but I'll get to that later in the review. The truth is real interracial fans won't care about the design issues anyways, this site has one reason to join and that is the exclusive hardcore group sex videos of white sluts getting banged hard by black dudes. Sometimes it's just one guy but more often it's two, three, or four and they screw these chicks hard including anal and DP. A good number of the girls are recognizable from other video sites like BellaDonna, Kacey, and Fiona. And even though virtually all of them are white (with a few latinas), not all of them are actually blondes, there are many brunettes mixed in too. They don't skimp on the number of movies either. On average they run 30-50 minutes in length and as of 11/23/04 the site has 109 videos, a very nice amount considering they're exclusive scenes. With one new movie added each week that number will continue to grow. 1/3 of a new scene gets added every Tues, Thurs, and Sat equaling the one total movie per week.
Movies are only in MPEG format. At the start of 2004 they began adding broadband quality files along with their standard medium and low quality clips. Here's how it works now: videos come in 3 broadband parts of roughly 10-15 minutes and 80-150Mb each; or they come in 15-40 medium and low quality clips of around 2 minutes and 8 or 3Mb each. The medium quality stream or download quickly and are good enough quality to enjoy but if you've got the time the broadband clips are awesome quality and worth waiting for the download. One important note is that the oldest half of the movies do not have the broadband files, just the medium and low clips.
Now back to the design. The main issue I have with it is no worthwhile organization effort has been put forth. Both in the picture and movie sections have long, long page of content that require endless scrolling to get to older episodes. Everything is just organized by date added on one long page. With their 100+ videos I think it'd be a huge step to add basic categorization. It doesn't have to be complicated; off the top of my head they could divide them up two ways, first by action (one-on-one & group sex) and by hair color (blondes & brunettes). At least that would add some level of filtering for members to find the types of scenes they want to see first.
I really didn't discuss the pictures but that's because they simply have action that parallels the videos. At $29.99/mo joining for the pics is not a good idea. Even with the site's flaws including that high price, my feeling is that interracial enthusiasts will find Blacks on Blondes worthwhile simply for its substantial collection of high quality videos full of serious hardcore interracial banging.
